DAS and FP+ Help

I'm 2 weeks away from doing our FP+ choices (for the first time) but wanted to find out if there are certain things we can't use the DAS on. I thought I had read somewhere that the DAS wouldn't work for the Character Meets but can't find anything on it now that I need to plan. Any help on this topic would be greatly appreciated!!

DAS can be used on anything that has a fastpass. It would work for things line Anna and Elsa, but wouldn't work for m&gs like Hiro and Baymax.

I would use your FP for anything that has a longer wait like A&E or 7DMT because if you use your DAS for it, it ties it up longer before you are able to get a return time for something else (you have to wait the whole hour+ wait time and then ride it before you can get another return time, versus using the DAS for a ride with a 30 minute wait).

If you take a break and head to the resort grab a DAS return time for the popular m&gs. That way the return time will be ready when you return.

I find that using FP+ for longer attractions like enchanted tales with belle, works better to allow you to stagger with das times because most of the wait is spent inside an attraction. So for a typical family you would never use a FP on monsters inc, for example. But it's a great attraction to pair with a return time for buzz or space.
