I have a friend who works at the parks, she said she may be able to "walk us in" How would DAS work with that scenario? I am thinking I will not be able to pre pick my rides? Thank you for any help

In order to do DAS Advance Selections (pre-picked attractions), you need to do video DAS registration 30 to 2 days before your first park visit.
You also need to have a park ticket and park reservation, which you won’t have. If you already are registered for DAS, you will be able to start making DAS Return Times (day of visit)

Wouldn't they have to go to guest relations to link the pass to the DAS? Or at least spend time entering the pass info into MDE. And wouldn't they need to have a reservation to get into the park? Even with passes, you need a reservation - at least that's the way it's working for the CM in our group.

I was at AK recently, one of my dc is a CM. I got a DAS for my dd from a CM at a ride entrance (after dd laid down on the pavement LOL) and was told it was good for that day only. I didn't try to make ride reservations so I can't speak to that part of it.

I don't know if they will do the DAS at a ride entrance regularly for people with passes, or just did it for us because of pavement kid-you should probably go to Guest Services.
