I understand limiting a production run, but if Disney begins to understand that these are selling on ebay for a huge price mark up, they could come up with something to make them available to the general public at a slight markup. I don't think Disney intends for these to go on ebay. I would pay Disney $20 for Darth Goofy if I can't make it to SWW, and would rather pay them for the item than somebody on ebay.

Since there were 4000 available couldn't they have just issued 1000 a week?
This would have helped little. A higher production run would help too. The ugly logo pin was limited to 7000, I believe, Darth Goofy should have been produced in at least this amount. Of course the way they do merchadise, if you can't get there the first weekend your probably out of luck.

We went the second weekend (on Sunday), and got to Wicket's Warehouse about 9:30 am. We were about the only people there, and there were tons of Darth Goofys to my surprise. I picked up two and took them to the counter. I asked the girl if I needed my mom to buy one (so I could get three- needed another for a friend) and the CM said "no" because there was a limit of 12 per person! I then asked her about the pins, and she said the 2 per person limit was still in effect. I thought it was strange. Sorry you all did not get the Darth Goofys you wanted. There must have been a rush that hit after us.

Last Year they made the Darth Mickey available online. We paid for them the first of June and recieved them in October. Maybe they will step up and do this again this time.

If I remember correctly all of the Darth Mickey plush did not make it to WDW in time, and they sold out early on the first day. Putting them online was their solution to this problem. It sounds like all 4000 Goofys made it down there.

. Only thing is, I bought 2, one for my DS and an extra. DS got into the bag of the extra thinking it was his, and he ripped the tag off. PM me if interested.
