OK, I"ve been following accuweather.com and weathe.com for the last couple of weeks. We leave tomorrow. Mostly they've talked of 70's and 50's at night, w/ 1 day that was more cloudy...and then yesterday it was scattered showers.

Well today they're talking heavy thunderstorms! Fortunately still scattered when I looked at the detail. But Thunderstorms are much diff't than showers. :rotfl2: Especially w/ kids in strollers. Well, all I can do is hope they miss Disney.

I know, weather is tough to predict. Just bums me out that the forecast changes so 2 days in advance.

But hey, tomorrow we're flying to Disney!!!!!!!!

Have fun on your trip!!! :Pinkbounc

We leave in 6 days and I have been watching the extended 15 day forecast since my dates have been on there....my dh thinks I'm nuts cause he says they're only guessing that far in advance! I think I'm just excited that the dates we are finally going are on a weather forecast!!!!

I too have been watching the weather like a hawk! I am so dissapointed that there is supposed to be thunder showers on Tues as we are supposed to be going to MVMCP! I wonder if they will let us switch our tickets to Thurs? I will be so bummed if we have to miss it!

Don't forget to take the rain cover for your stroller! Last Dec it was the best thing we had on hand - kept DGrD warm and cozy through the rain showers and also when the wind kicked up a bit at night ! We also keep it on when we're in attractions - showers happen quickly and without warning sometimes in FL - can't tell you how many soaked strollers I've watched people exit a ride to find! Enjoy - you're going to have a great time !! - we're right behind you - leaving on Friday ! :smooth:

I'm a South FLorida Gal and yup we are also getting rain on Tuesday due to a Cold Front coming in then it should be nice and cool, But the rain is only for Tuesday, and it usually is only a shower or two, I dont ever beleive these weathermen They have told us total wash outs and we have had beautiful days, Hope it works out for your trip!!! Have fun!!! :wizard:

yes you cant always believe the weather on accuweather that far out. WHen i looked 14 days out from my wedding every day it said something different right up to two days before it said it was going to pour the rain and be totally bad well
It was increadibly hot and beautiful.(this is weather in NC)

I understand how discouraging it can be. . . .

But as a individual with my BS in Meteorology- Please don't shoot the messenger. The Weathermen don't want to forecast that far out, but the public wants it, so they do what they can (and what their bosses make them do). Anyone in the business will tell you that forecasts are relatively accurate to about 3 days out, but no further.

I hope that the weather is beautiful for your trip!!

It aws supposed to rain everyday of our trip in September....even said so the day we left (thanks to Hurricane Ophelia), but once we got to Disney....absolutely beautiful...no rain, not even a cloud...hope you luck out for the same!

I'm offended :( Another meteorologist here  Please don't judge us by our worst specimen...accuweather! :rotfl2:

Would you rather be up here with the snow and cold be glad that you are in Florida. I would take rain any day over snow :cold: :cold:

Well, we flew into Orlando on Friday then drove up to visit in-laws. The weather here has been beautiful...sunny and in the mid to upper 70s! :sunny:

We will be leaving for our stay in the World at Pop Century this afternoon and have been watching the weather forecasts as well since we also plan on going to MVMCP on 11/29.

I've heard a 40 - 50% chance for rain on Tuesday and following that is a cool front...low 70s! :rotfl2: We got away from 15 degree weather when we left and I'll take Florida's "cool front" temperatures anyday!!!!

accuweather is the only weather site to go out as much as 15 days. weather is unpredicable. accuweather or weather channel will always do there best. orlando get around 2-3 inches for the month of november if i read the farmers almanac right. just to help ya

I think the weather has said rain rain rain every time I've checked for every trip we went on. It has rained some, once over Spring Break we got soaked to the bone, other than that the storms have been quick. I know is some semi-tropical environments, afternoon rains are the norm but don't last.

WOW, thank you for the insight. That makes real sense. Public demands to know what's coming our way....we complain when it isn't an accurate picture...but complain more when they don't tell us anything.

Whatever comes our way....we're going to be there tomorrow!!!!! :Pinkbounc :cheer2:    :cool1: :cool1:
