Darn Disney Store and their wacky promotions!

sooo..I got some good discounts on Thanksgiving and have been waiting for another deecnt discount..and waiting..nope...so today I cave and order a Dooney and Bourke bag (I can't believe I actually did this..so out of character) and TONIGHT I get an email with a special $15.00 discount for DVC members..OF COURSE! now that it's too late to use it. (and yes, I thought of calling and trying to get them to apply it but the fine print very clearly states you can't use it retroactively...and I used 4 giftcards to buy it and I can only imagine how messed up it would be to try and cancel and start over)..but isn't that how it always goes???

I got that email too, but if I'm not mistaken the D&B bags are excluded (I was also waiting to get a code to order one of the bags : )

I feel your pain. That happens to me ALL the time at various stores. I wait and wait for a coupon, and then just decide to go and get the item (usually kids clothing), only to get home from the mall and find a coupon sitting in my mail box. If it's an easy transaction I will just return the items and rebuy them with the coupon, but if it's going to be a confusing transaction like you are saying, I chalk it up as a loss. It is frustrating though!!!!

OH! I need to go read the fine print..that would make me feel better I did notice that the code is good for purchases over $100 and is good until Jan 9, so maybe some after Christmas sales will be appealing.
