Dark circles/puffiness under eye cream?

I've had some really, really dark circles lately which isn't typical for me. Eep!

I've looked at the Loreal and Garnier products for this issue; can anyone rec either? (I already use Clinique face wash and make-up, so I'm really hoping to find something budget friendly for this.)

If your really dark circles are purplish they can be an indication of allergies. My doctor likes to call this one of the signs of allergies which is purple shiners under the eyes. Allergies can start anytime in your life so if you have never had them before it doesn't mean you can't have them now. I'm not trying to diagnose you but let you know that it may be something medically involved.

I'm all about Clinique All About Eyes. I know you said you wanted something more budget, but I have genetic racoon eyes, it's the only thing that works to keep the circles in check.

Plus it's not a lot more than the Garnier.

I actually do have allergies; been (diagnosed) since I was 4. It's definitely a different puffy/dark than I get when my allergies are bothering me. (I know it's from stress and a lack of sleep.)

I think I'll have to go ahead and check out the Clinique product; I have a giftcard that I was going to use on make-up, but I'll probably add that to my list.

To those that use it - is it an under make-up cream or for night time use?
