Has anyone started Christmas shopping yet? If not, Do you know what your going to be getting everyone or when you will start your shopping? My husband and I are going to split it up. Meaning, he's buying for the guys and I'm buying for the women in our family. Then we'll shop together for the children. Of course, We will put both our names on the tags when we give them to our family and friends. We just figured it was easier this way because he has a better idea of what the men want and I have a better idea of what the women want. Were going to try it this way this year and we'll see how it works.

We really started today! And almost finished today as well!

Almost $1000 lighter now, but the stress level will be kept down and that is worth it right there!

We do have a couple of people left to shop for, but our kids are 98% done as well as a few others on the list!

BTW, hubby and I went out today for the big shopping and I will probably pick up the stuff we have left to get!

Yep, I started and am happy to say that I am almost finished! I really only have to buy for DGD and order some tickets to a Broadway show and then it's all over except for the wrapping.

My mom bought me and DH a present yesterday! Well, I bought it and she's going to give it to us. I was at Mervyn's and found a comforter set I wanted for 30% off. So, I called her asked her if she wanted me to buy it so she could give it to us. She said, "Sure!" So I gave it to her today and she paid me for it. It will show up again on Christmas morning. Saves mom the time and she hates to shop anyway. And I get to pick what I want. That's how we do things in our family, except for the kids. They'll be surprised!

I bought some toe socks for the girls at walmart last week but other than that, nope haven't even thought about it....

The big stuff for my girls is bought and wrapped - or hidden in the garage. Last year I was up until 1:00am Christmas Eve wrapping gifts and I intend to be fast asleep by 10:00pm this year.

I know what I'm getting everyone on my list so one of these days I'll have a big shopping day and knock most of it out. I still need a list from my younger daughter so I can decide what I want to get and what goes on the Dad/stepmom list.

Ok,SM, you can't slap me because I'm only 99% done.
I have to get something for my husband. He's the hardest because he's the least materialistic person that I've ever known. DH is perfectly content and everything is almost always right in his world. It drives me nuts that I don't live in that world.

Done and 90 percent wrapped. I had to special order christmas wrap back in august. I just wanted it all done with. If I can find a tree the day before Thanksgiving thats what we will do after our meal is decorate.
