Has anyone had experiance with the DAS when you only need to avoid stairs?

I can stand in line, not great, but I can do it, it's just stairs that I have the issue with.

Would I still need to get a return time for those rides that have stairs?

It's not a problem to do so, just wondering how they are handling that.

You don't need a DAS to avoid stairs, you just let a CM know as you get near the start of the ride and they will direct you how you can avoid the stairs.

I have to avoid stairs and I had a horrible experience in Oct two days after they implemented the program, at that time you could talk to 10 different CM's and get 10 different stories so I was worried about our trip right before Christmas. It looks like they have had time to get things figured out, and everyone now seems to be on the same page regarding those who need to avoid stairs.

I also need to avoid stairs and that was the only reason I got a GAC in the past. I would really like to know exactly how the CM's handled this, especially for Space Mountain. In the past I would wait in the really long line at the exit.
