Dare I ask about pull out sofa comfort?

We stayed at OKW and SSR in November and we did NOT have the newer pull out sofa bed at OKW. DD10 complained it was uncomfortable, I did lay down on it to get DS to nap and I don't think I could have done a whole night on it. All the kids proclaimed the pull-out at SSR MUCH more comfortable.

One other side note, if MIL has mobility issues and you end up at OKW make sure to note on your reservation that you need a 1st floor room or an elevator bldg for medical reasons. Not all OKW bldgs have elevators. I'm nearly sure all SSR bldgs have elevators.

Sorry to ask again, but are the BCV sofa beds newer (and comfortable) or are they like these OKW ones I'm reading about? :confused3

My Dad is a smoker, my DS has asthma - so I can relate. Honestly, I wouldn't do the trip. Their clothing, everything, stinks. When we went to the AKL my parents came and they put us in connecting rooms! Normally that would be nice, but I was furious! We had to put a towel under the connector door to keep the stench out (my dad smoked IN THE ROOM! Yes I know you're not supposed to - he's very RUDE about that). My folks did very little at the parks, so it was really dumb for them to be there. We love Disney, and enjoy everything about it. They kept having to look for somewhere for him to light up.

If need be, I'd get the 2br handicapped for her, and maybe get her some nicorette for the trip! That's too bad, maybe she'll quit. Sorry about the ranting, it just makes me sad to see folks do that to themselves.

Maybe if you do this, have DH and her have some quality time while you do some stuff you want - definitely plan it out so you do some things together (like some meals) and some park time apart. That way you'll have a better time.

Oh - but a 2br will be MUCH more expensive than the two rooms at a value resort, so that may be better. Then you'll still have your own bathrooms and you can request handicapped for her (just in case, but it should be a shorter walk for her to get where she needs to go).

I think we are just going to end up with the arrangement that we have right now. Two rooms at ASMo and a rental in place for a scooter from Walker Mobility for her. We requested king beds for both rooms and a room near the DSA for her. We asked that our rooms be near each other, but not necessarily connecting. Thanks for all of the advice.

Absolutely love sleeping on the pull out sofas. when me and mom go we stay in the studios at the BWV and i sleep on the pull out. in all honesty i would prefer it sometimes.

:thanks: Thank you for your response! I'm really hoping to get a villa so we don't end up all in one BC room. (my sister too):crowded:

Thanks!:goodvibes
