Darden restaurants near WDW?

Are there any Red Lobster or Olive Gardens near WDW property? I can cash in credit union reward points for gift cards to lower food costs if there are any close. Thanks!

Click on the above link and it will show the resturants near WDW. If it doesn't work for you, go to Dardenrestaurants.com. There is a Red Lobster and Olive Garden in Orlando which is only a few miles away. They also have a Bahama Breeze on Vineland in Orlando. This is one of my favorites.

Thanks, I went to the Darden site, but I'm not familiar enough with driving around Orlando to figure out which were close, and which would be a PITA to get to. I do remember wher Vineland is, though. There aren't any Bahama Breeze restaurants at home, but the menu on the site looked promising. Are the prices similar to Red Lobster and Olive Garden?

Darden just bought out Longhorn Steakhouse as well. If your in the mood for some cow there are a few of those in Orlando as well.

I prefer seafood to cow....cows are cute, shrimp not so much. The coconut shrimp at Red Lobster are a fave, looks like Bahama Breeze has a version, yum

since darden started the company there in orlando...they have a great selection of resturants to choose from. there is also one called seasons 52 (i think) which is our newest concept...and ive heard great reveiws about it. its closer to universal though.....if that makes a difference.

im buying gift cards at work ( i work at the lobster ) and wil be using them on our trip. and since im an employee...i get 25% off to boot.....what a deal!!!

There's a bahama Breeze on Apopka Vineland near the corner where you turn to go to the premium outlets, and an olive garden near goodings - turn left at that light and go about 2 blocks it's on the right.

I don't mean to hijack this thread but wait. As a Darden employee you get 25% off any other Darden concept? I work for Longhorn (yes i was pimping out my own restaurant earlier ) they never told us that. Im assuming you have to show a paystub?

I used to work for the OG a long time ago when it was just the four restaurants. We did get a % discount at the other restaurants.

As for OG and Red Lobster near WDW. Where are you staying exactly? There is a Red Lobster on 192 just a little bit off property near the Gaylord. You take the Oceola Parkway to International Drive and take that to 192. Take a left on 192 and it's about 1/2 mile down on your right. There is also a steakhouse on that corner but I am 99% sure it's not Longhorn, Logan's maybe? It's very close to Pop. I am pretty sure there must be an OG very near there as well, I just can't remember. I do know there is one just a few miles down 192 anyway.

The closest Lobster from WDW.. Go on the road that passes DTD into Hotel Plaza Blvd when you hit 535 (where HPB ends) go straight through the intersection and its the back of the plaza.

The closest Olive from WDW: When you hit 535 (where HPB ends) turn left (get in the far right lane) and itll be on the corner of the next light (CR 535)

To Bahama Breeze: When you hit 535 (where HPB ends) turn right, go under the freeway and the next left (youll see a sign for Mary Queen Shrine) turn and BB will be on the immediate left.

Awesome directions!! If you are staying down by AK, Pop or the All-Stars the one out on 192 would probably be closer though.

I *think* that if you got out the back of disney property past downtown disney and turn left (crossroads would be straight and you would turn right to hit Vineland) that there is an Olive Garden not far down that road. I hope someone can confirm this.

There's a Red Lobster in the "Crossroads" shopping area on Vineland- where Gooding's and Jungle Jim's are located.

We'll be staying at POP, after all, it is the budget board I really like the theming, great for DD5. That's good to know mmy options are close, too.
