Dapper Days in September - anyone else thinking of going?

As you can see... the wife is running behind on her dress... she's done one or two hats for herself already though... Back Front

I may attempt a no-sew skirt, if I find the time, they have become pretty popular in the park

but I may just end up wearing this dress dress and accessorizing with a hat and gloves...

I am still undecided, as I told the the hubby this is the perfect excuse for a new dress

So much has changed since I originally posted months ago. But now we are going from Sept. 9th - Sept. 13th staying at the DLH but not completely sure what we will be wearing. This was a last minute change due to a promotion my husband just got Hubby doesn't have much that works so I may just break out one of my polka dot dresses and check out the local Halloween shops for white gloves and possible petticoat.

This is the dress I likely would be wearing :

Black and white polka dot dress with rhinestone sandals/possible white gloves/pearls/petticoat.

Simple dress but this was a last minute trip change so trying my best!

That would be great! I think we've decided on the Grand. Now we just need a time and more specific location. Someone mentioned that the last meet was at the outside fireplace and it was a bit crowded and smokey. Ideas anyone???

Pretty much nailed down my outfit..

I plan to get some canvas black or white shoes accented by ruffle socks.
It's hard to tell by my hair is tied back with black material in a bow.
Red lipstick/nail polish with a pearl necklace will finish it off.

As far as a meet-up, I would prefer not to merge with the MiceChat group because I won't know who is who. How about if we just meet in the Hearthstone Lounge? Since the other group is meeting at 7, I'm not sure what time would be best. The Folly at Jazz Kitchen starts at 10:30, so maybe sometime between 8 and 10? Is that taking away too much park time? It would be fun to grab a drink and meet fellow DISers
