Hello,

We're planning to go to Dapper Day this fall and staying at the Grand with the convention rate. I wanted to know what the cost was for the park tickets for the last Dapper Day event were. Since park tickets are going up on Sunday I need to decide if I'm going to wait for the fall dapper day tickets to be available or if I should purchase my park tickets now.

A couple years ago they were $269 for 5 day park hoppers. I say wait! We saved quite a bit. They haven’t been announced yet for the upcoming Dapper Day that we are going to.

We are looking for 3 to 4 day park hoppers. Poseys, how much did you save do you remember?

I'd definitely wait for the Dapper Day tickets, as the convention rate tickets are still likely going to offer a better discount, even with a price increase.

I'm attending the mini-Gay Days event the first weekend in March and my 4-day park hopper was $287 (instead of $335).

I just got an email that they Dapper Day tickets for spring are on sale.

ETA: Oops! Never mind. It's the Expo tickets that went on sale.

Do people upgrade convention discounted hoppers into APs?

If you know the dates you want for Fall Dapper Days then I would book the rooms now and and tell them to add the admission tickets to the room reservation. That way you lock in the prices. Do it over the phone, not the website. Call and ask for the Convention desk. I booked everything a year in advance over the phone.Called them and booked everything on May 8,2015 for our trip arriving April 30 , 2016

That's a good idea. Did you have to pay the full cost of room deposit and tickets or just the room deposit or what?

You put down a deposit to cover one night with tax etc. You pay for the rest when you check in, including the tickets. This is great because you can use Disney gift cards to pay everything!

Perfect! That's what I was planning to do anyhow!

Good call, JerryP. I totally forgot you can do that!

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but how can I add the tickets to my room so I can do this? I don't see an option online. I've also been trying to figure out how to pay off my room, but I'm guessing this is why I haven't been able to. I will pay when I get there? I've been worried that I haven't been able to get my confirmation number to take me anyway. I wanted to go ahead and buy the tickets, but there was no giftcard option that I saw.

I called in to the Dapper Day phone number and told them i wanted to add park tickets to my reservation. They added them and I only paid the initial one night deposit. I paid for the tickets and remainder of my room upon check in with Disneygift cards.

Thanks! Is this the correct phone number? 714-520-5005

I'll ask them on the phone to confirm this, but frankly I'll feel more at ease with an answer here; the site say the tickets are only valid through 4/17, but also says they are good 11 days after the first use. Can I safely assume that if we check in on the 13th, they will be good up to 11 days after that? We're getting 5 day tickets but will be there until the 21st. Also, do I need to add DD Event ticket for everyone in the room with tickets? I'm not sure everyone wants to go, but obviously everyone will be going to the park. Just don't want to do something I'm not supposed to be doing or get the tickets revoked.

the phone number you have is correct. I don't know your answer about the ticket expiration or if everyone has to attend the DD event. I wouldn't think that everyone would have to attend but honestly I'm not sure. Maybe someone else can chime in about your additional questions.
