Dapper Day check-in thread

I'll try to stop by the meet up. Unfortunately, a 4-year-old is my boss, so I hate to commit when I have her with me

I hear ya about the 4-year old (this posting is meant 2b light hearted)

Ladybug
just turned 4 this year (August) so as a belated b-day gift, she's getting a mani-pedi & a bubblebath while she's staying at her hotel for spolied pooches (while I am on this adventure).

Felt nice though to have the house all to myself today ; felt different but nice.

We will still be on the road during the meetup, but if you see us on Sat, give a shout! DD7 has a minnie inspired pink polka dot dress, DS3 has a t shirt with blue vest and blue bow tie, I have a daisy inspired dress and DH has a red vest and black bow tie. I'd post pics, but they aren't done yet

Too bad we don't have a DIS tag. We used to use a lime-green Mickey head (free as a paint chip from Home Depot) that you could clip to your bag or something to identify yourself as a DISer, but I think HD stopped using them and the practice died out.

I made my own using bright green construction paper, and laminated it. I still carry it around.
Less then 24 hrs we will be on a plane heading to California. So excited I don't know how I am going to sleep tonight.
Packing this morning then I work 2:30p-9p
Looking forward to Friday!

Safe trip! 48 hours for us! Today I'm cleaning the house & picking up a few last minute toiletries. Packing & relaxing tomorrow. Well, that's me. DH has to work til 11 then mow the lawn. Our flight is 5:45 Friday am, so we hope to get to bed around 9 tomorrow. I don't think I'll be sleeping much either!!

Weather held off rather nicely for me yesterday - light rain when I was on the Disneyland RR or when I was indoors and when clear skies, I was out and about.

We were at the park yesterday (not dressed Dapper) and I just want to say that everyone who dressed up looked fabulous. It was fun to walk around the park and to see all the great outfits. Great job everyone!

Great pics! thanks for taking pics of us and sharing them. Joey and I really enjoyed meeting all of you!
It was a fun time. I ended up with a really bad blister on my baby toe from the shoes. LOL

I did too, Michelle! Mine was on my baby toe also. I got it the next day (Saturday). My comfortable shoes decided to rebel after about 3/4 of the day, and my feet were NOT happy walking all the way back to the hotel to change shoes. But hey, I looked good for Charles Phoenix, which was a REALLY fun show!

@DizMe @MichelleWDWfan You guys got off easy then! My shoes started out totally comfortable and gave out about 1/2 way through the day. My baby toes died first and then my big toe on my right foot started throbbing. We took at break at 4:00 or so to head back to GCH and swim before we had to meet my dd's sitter in the room. I switched to flip flops for the evening, but kept my dress on.

Well, my big toe on my right foot is officially dead. It hurt the rest of the disney trip, but I managed to make it. I took off my nail polish a few days after we got back and it is completely black and blue. I am 100% sure that my big toe nail will be falling off in the near future
