Dapper Day check-in thread

Thank you! I tried clipping it under to see how it would look. I'm just not sure how to do it so it stays put!

I spray dry shampoo on so my paper thin hair has some texture. Also, I use these amazing clips from walmart...They have different bottoms than the standard clips with this top, the 3 prong holds it.

Here are a couple of (crummy) pics of my Friday and Saturday outfits. I'm going to try and curl my hair on Saturday (with my kitty skirt) so it will look a little '50ish. I sure hope the weather cools down for us!!!

I have fine hair, but it is crazy curly. It will hold a curl. It will not stay straight, however! If I get a ton of clips and a lot of product and actual hair spray I can see the waves coming together, especially if I practice it beforehand. Now, if the Florida humidity will give me one day of reprieve.

Me too...Accuweather just makes me nervous!! I've even gone online to KTLA's (the CBS affiliate we always watch when we're in LA) and checked their numbers! Just call me an obsessive over-planner...

I have a lot of am Disneyland / DCA tours & such Friday , Saturday & Sunday but YES - ya r bound to see me in the parks (not on a tour) on these days in the afternoons (after 1pm) & ya nver know, we could just bump into each other.

No, I am unable to participate in Dapper Day but should be run across each other, it would be soooo cool to kindly ask for your pic -

I have curly hair, too, but mine is much more coarse. After trying and failing several times to achieve waves, I've given it up in favor of rocking a snood! I can't wait to see how everyone looks! It's our first DD, but I've been wanting to go for years!

Yesterday when I was at the grocery store (Winco), I found this headband that has a velvety roller type thing on the back. It's supposed to be for that '40s style where the hair is rolled around it, but I found that it works great for a faux bob as well! I just tuck my hair under it

That's a great idea! I do that same thing with that style headband, but without the addition. That is a fantastic way to make the bob bigger
