We are going to do a classic 1920's look but I can't decide whether to wear a hat or attempt finger waves. I am no good at doing my own hair, but it has been one of the hottest few months on record. I don't know if I could wear a hat in this heat. I'm wearing the same Nataya dress I wore last year. Very Downton Abbey.

Awesome. Thanks.I love 20's looks! I can't do finger waves, my mom usually does them for me, but when I need that kind of look, I have a deep waver that works fantastic and achieves that downton look. Here's the link if you're interested:

Can you tell me what it looks like? I'm doing a 1920s style too, and I'm completely in the dark about how to do my hair. I have a few ideas and had considered finger waves but my hair is too long. I thought I might just curl it up in little ringlets, which is '30s but hey, who really cares, right? I also tried turning it under and tying a scarf around it. Eh...I have no idea. My dress isn't truly '20s anyway so I'll probably go with something 'eclectic' LOL.I love 20's looks! Thank you! I tried clipping it under to see how it would look. I'm just not sure how to do it so it stays put!I just wave it and then pin the bottom under, so it looks like Edith on Downton. It's $22 on Amazon, but I've also seen them at Target. If you do get one, just don't close it too tight and you'll get looser, more delicate waves. But if you have thick hair, that might not make a difference. I have thin hair...
