Hi all, back last night from 5 days @ the world. First, we had a great time and I am really, really tired! Very happy we went this week instead of the summer. No crowds what so ever, walked on to every ride, Early entry was woderful and I really need a vacation now!
Night 1: We stayed a wyndham place the first night. Price line with AMEX bonus, cost us $20. This was the best deal I got the whole trip. For those of you who are concerned about this resort, don't be. I signed up for wyndham by request, thanks to the DIS, and got 25th floor overlooking DTD. What a fabulous resort this is! Yes, it is a little far away from WDW parks, but it severed its purpose. Rooms were very nice, Bath and body soap and creams, bathrobes. GREAT DEAL!
Day 2: Checked in ASMU @ 7:00am, room was ready but didnt have time to check it out. Off to Cindys for 8:00am PS. Cindys was wonderful. see my food report to see my surprise! Stayed @ MK till I got nauseus from sitting on buzz. ( my 2yr old son learned quick how to move car around). Off to Epcot, Before I forget to mention, there were no lines what so ever the entire trip with exception of Sat @ MK. Night of joy was happening and there were alot of guests. Back to Epcot, Saw Tapastry of nations which was wonderful and of course Illuminations. Did some attractions in Future world. Left after illuminations. Already tired and we have had only one day.
Day3: Room was great @ ASMU, clean and for what we needed served us well. We were in Calypso 10 which was a great location. Didn't eat @ food court just did refillable mugs and snacks. Ok, back to day 3. EE into MK, more Buzz,,,,,, yikes! my husband and I took turns on buzz with son while other did SM with daughter. At 9am ran over and got FP for BTM and baby swapped @ water ride. left Mk and off to MGM @ 11am. Well, stood in line for Buzz and woody and my sone almost died and went to heaven!! Easy entry into all attractions. RR roller coaster was outragious!!!! What a take off! My stomach was in my mouth and I really thought I wasnt going to make it!!!! But, we all rode it several times over next two days!! Started to ran around 6pm and we had had enough. Left MGM and went out to dinner.
Day4: EE into Epcot which was kinda of wast of time. TT kept breaking down and we have done Ellens the previous night. Briefly walked into world show case, Ate beaver tales, pastries in france and did some shopping in Italy. Took friendship cruise back to WSC and left for MGM. Oh, by the way, did stop at Ice Station cool and go figure, my husband liked beverly! MGM was a little more crowded this time. Did RR again and ToT with my daughter. Why do I keep going on that ride when I hate it... I had my eyes closed one they lock into that drop area. I knew what was coming and wanted no part of it!!! I vow to never do it again! Saw Beuty and Beast, wonderful! Fantasmic was wonderful and packed as usual. We did dinner package and walked right in @ 8pm!
Day 5: EE into MK, this was most crowded due to Night of Joy and I guess it was sold out! But due to being in MK earlier in trip, we had done all the big ticket attractions and now we just took our time. One sad part of trip, Small world didnt open as planned and I never got a chance to show my son what a wonderful ride it is!
Next time!! Left MK around 2pm and went back to hotel for a swim. left to go check out character wearhouse @ Lake Buena Vista mall. Waist of time. Belzs is so much better. I bought nothing! After CW went to DTD to do some real shopping.. Well, you would have thought that the skys opened up and would never stop raining. We darned our ponchos and ran into World Of Disney. Got some great 100 year stuff. Hat, shirt, pins, sweat shirts ect.
Last day, sniff: Check out was a breeze, got to Ak @ 8am and again, walked into every attraction. It was very hot and we were very tired. Took our time and enjoyed the rest of our trip. Left for MCO @ 2:50 and had no problems with traffic. Here is where the the problem starts!!!!! Return car to national, women tells me that it was $25 more then price quote from website quote, sends me to counter. Nasty women @ counter gives me hard time and tells me that we can't use two coupons together.. of course I had my print out with me, which she refused to even look at, she tells me that she will speak to her manager. Comes back and says, No, cant do it.. Well, now I am hot! I say I would like to speak with manager. Manager comes out, I show her confirmation from national. She tells me you Can't use both Disney Club coupons.. We get into long debate, and she finally gives it to me!! I was not gonna give up a single cent to them. It was the principal.
Moral of story,, BRING YOUR PAPERWORK!
In all we had a great time. My husband has already agreed to go again in two more years!!! Yeah, got to start planning
