Too bad you didn't enjoy the Coral Reef. At least you liked the food. It seemed like they just got so swamped with all the people in the restaurants that they didn't care if they gave good service.

Yes- I can give them that- They were VERY busy and low on staff (atleast it seemed).

So sorry Coral Reef was a bust, glad you at least enjoyed the food. We had a wonderful server and maybe because it was my b-day and tim had called ahead for the special menus (which you had no luck with) and the divers we got the tank side table and great service. Makes me re think it for future no-b-day trips though. The buses after Illuminations are THE WORST! Can't wait to see what's next, enjoying all your great pictures!

Hi Lesly...I Tried for a diver and they were all booked, so they offered to do the menus but that flopped as well LOL Ohwell....It didnt ruin my vacation or nuthin.
I agree about the crowds after Illumination- It was very bad, But Im glad we got to see it this time

Great TR. Can't wait to hear more, especially since we will be going to AK for the first time when we go in 3 weeks. Can't wait to see the pics. I'm a complete photo nut as well. We will be driving from Illinois. Will go 11 hours on first day, stop outside of Atlanta, Ga for the night and then drive the remaining 7 hours the next day...so I know how ya feel.This time we will be traveling with a 6 month old breastfed only son as well as the older two so it will be interesting. Did your boys really like the pirate cruise. What kind of stuff did they do? I was considering it for my boys (9 & 6) since they are obsessed with POTC and all things pirate but I am a MAJOR worrywart. How many cm's did they have with how many children? Is it really safe, I mean you don't have to worry about them on the boat with them and you don't have to worry about someone taking them(your children) I am freaking about the not being with them and leaving them with total strangers while we are in a different state even. My husband keeps saying it will be ok but I don't know if I could do it. I would be swimming alongside the boat trying to keep my eye on them...lol, yes, I know that I am crazy. So sorry to ramble on but when I saw that your boys went on it I couldn't resist hounding you with questions about it. Thank you so much for listening to my rantings.

LOL- You sound just like I did when I was trying to decide weather or not to send the boys on a cruise...I was worried about the exact same things as you have mentioned BUT I can tell you that I felt tottaly comfortable leaving them, There were 9 kids to 2 Lifeguards (CM's), and they were required to wear life jackets. I am VERY glad that I sent them on the cruise, It is one of there favorite memories....they had to go on a treasure hunt by searching for clues as to wear the chest is. They eat lunch on the boat (included in price 29.00), and then return back to POR, or where ever they took off from, theres a few different resorts that offer this cruise-BUT THEY BOOK FAST, so if your interested call asap. I wouldnt worry, I know its hard (trust me --I almost wouldnt let my kids go because I couldnt be with them), But The CMs are VERY kid friendly and are licensed Lifegaurds so I hope that puts you alittle more at ease. I will post the pics the kids took while on the cruise when I take the disposable cameras to a place to develope them--It will be fun to see what they did and what they took pics of

Well We DID NOT set a alarm or have a wake up call today!! I was tooo tired and wanted to sleep in! well That didnt work, I was still up at 8:30ish (not sleeping in IMO), so we got everyone up and ready to go and got to AK about 9:30am. THIS CROWD WAS UNBELIEVEABLE! at this point I was wishing we had gotten up earlier and maybe the crowds would have been lower. Ohwell to late now...so on with it we go
we got in line for the double stroller, that took FOREVER!! Here are the boys first thing in the morning- There still tired -ya know cause they have to do all the walking and all

after that we ran to FPs for EE, then over to TTBAB--I dont think I have ALOT of pics of this day but I will share what I have...Here is Heath waiting on TTBAB (5 Min wait-not bad concidering the crowds)

after this we headed for FOLK show (the first one)...another show I have nver seen before I was lost with out the DIS I swear!!!
Now my camera doesnt take good pics when its dark so some of these pics are kinda dissapointing BEWARE!!

That was an amazing show-such talent I tell ya!! Unfortuntly neither of my children were chose to participate--ohwell- it was very cool anyway!!

So we were done there and when we came out there was the charecter lines , The didnt look very long so we wnt for it!
Ended up with some cute pics ............

After that we headed to Nemos musical and look who we spotted on the way!!!

Heath was SSOOOOO SSTTOOKKEEDD! He LOVES stich so he was a very happy camper after we got his pic with stich

We proceeded for nemos musical and were first in line ---That cant be right can it?????? Well after waiting and waiting - I realized I had the wrong start time!!!!! I wanted to arrive 45 min. early but mthe time I had wrote down was a half hour early so we waited on this show for over one hour!!!!!!!!OOOPPPSS! Then it started to rainn~GREAT!!

Once we finally got in it was well worth the wait!! we had great seats and the show was sooo cool...heres a few shots

After that we went to use the FPs for EE
WHAT A COOL RIDE!! Dane and Heath went first , then we parent swaped cause Javen couldnt ride..I snapped a couple pics while riding

We stopped in the gift shop and bought a few pins and stuff..then headed for Flame tree BBQ
Dont have any pics from there except one

Oh and when I picked the tray up here, it had all our drinks on it with NO LIDS, so Heath decides to try to grab a french fri---Knocks all 4 drinks all over me YES I laughed!! I was sooo upset but instantly blew it off---It was a accident and no use in cryin over spilled milk so I went back up and got refills for everyone
Flame Tree was awsome!! It was reccommended by Lesley and Man she was right- It was VERY good!!

After this we headed to ride dinosour

LMAO!! We were both so worried about our kids seeing that huge Dinosour!! I laughed my butt off when I seen that pic!!!!!

Then we headed for primevel whirl whitch Heath and Dane rode while Javen and I rode tricertops (Jave was to small for primevel)

It was 4:00 at this time so we watched a little of the parade and headed out of the park--On the bus back to POP I was holding my stroller sign that said "Heath and javen", and a lady on the bus said "R U you heath and Javens mom"--YEP THATS ME!! It was Disneymomof5 from DISS!!! How cool so we chatted most of the way back to POP. VERY cool!!!


Next up--ADR at Chef Mickeys!!! We will make it?? And Just how exactly will we get there??? This could be a little crazy!!! Whats new though!!

We were eating at Restaurantasauras while you were getting rained on at Nemo. Just around the corner! We were in there soooo long, that we didn't realize it had rained, and came out to all our stuff soaked!

WE went to Chef Mickey's that night also. We had a 6:50 pm ADR. We got to watch that nasty storm roll through from way up there. It was kind of cool.

Really enjoying the report. It's giving me something to do while I'm sick, and is giving me an excuse not to work on mine! LOL

I am not into musicals at all, but I Loooooved Finding Nemo! You took an AWESOME picture of Crush. It came out so good.

I don't know what it is about some of your pics, but you seem to capture something in them that's special. The one of Dane and Heath waiting for Lion King so is great. Not really posed, just them....together--Father and son. Priceless.

Great updates! How did you manage to stay at Animal Kingdom that long with it being soooo HOT! We went one day at opening and were out of there by 2:00. Couldn't take the heat! Dinosaur is the one ride we have not gone on. DD says she doesn't want to ride it. She's been on Tower of Terror, Space Mountain, and Expedition Everest, but she won't ride Dinosaur. Next time I'll get her on it........ How old & how tall is Javen that he couldn't ride EE. DD is 4, soon to be 5, but she just barely reaches the 44 inches this time around. Last trip she was under 44 inches. She loved EE, but she calls it the "Yeti" ride.......

Anyways, enjoying your trip report & great pics! Especially those of the Nemo show. Guess it pays to be first in line

You know I think the boys would have been fine for dinosour-it was more our parenting instinct to protect them They didnt cry or complain or anything- the actually liked the ride-we just went on instinct LOL

AK was HOT that day- and to be frank ( NO FLAMES) Ak is my least favorite park, so It took everything I had to stay there that long. I just wanted to get the major things done and get out of there.

Oh javen is 42 inches (just tall enough for TOT-actually a line under limit) ...BUt he is small for his age. I wish he could have went on EE- He would have loved it!!

Hi TAT, First let me just say there are alot (wont name any names ) of girls that have read my PTR and TR that think Dane is HOT Thats tottaly okay with me because I am NOT a jealous person and 2 I agree with them So go ahead and look away--let me know if you find a tattoo on him that is your favorite He is getting a steamboat mickey next Im so excited for that one.

It was hot In AK that day ! I have no make up tips (like courtny from her TR), but she was just beautiful anyway! I ALWAYS use blush, cream colored eye shadow (shimmer) and Black eyeliner (top and bottem) then black Mascara- THATS ALL!! I cant stand to feel like I have make up cacked on, so I only wear what I have to Thanks for your copliments
