Hey, I'm all caught up just in time to leave. I'm loving the pictures of the WL. Wonder if the ME bus will *accidentally* drop us off there instead of POR. Hey, I can dream, right?

So after totally falling in Love with WL and having bell services bring up all our bags/luggage, we unpacked and settled in to what would be our "home" for the next 7 days!! It was about 11:00 before we decided to head to MK...we were all axious to go to our first park of the trip!! WOO HOO! So we went out to the boat dock and grabbed a baot to MK..the boat ride is such a nice change from the hussle and bussle of busses and even monorail!! Our wait for the boats was always less than 5 minutes BTW

Once we could see Mk from the boat I seen the HUGE crowds!! I couldnt belive what I was seeing...every other year it is very slow and almost empty, so I was suprised to see all these people flowing in.....Then I remembered it was labor day weeked- DUH!

We went thru bag check and then entered the park....We got just a little ways down main street before I heard someone scream "FARRAH!"...I looked around and spoted Tammy, known on here as ONE TREE HILL ADDICT. I was so stoke dto have my first Dis encounter soo soon. we stopped and cahtted for a few..let me tell ya her kids are sooo stinkin cute! tammy your DD is just beautiful!!!

We said or goodbyes and then we headed on down main street....

We went streight to tommrrow land and rode as many rides as we could..stitch was our first one (Heaths fav),

and then we hit laugh floor, buzz, TTA,

space mountin etc...Now javen was too short for space mountin so he and I hung out and rode buzz again while the bigger boys did the bigger ride.
It was soo hot and crowded this day, I was praying that the crowds would let up later in the week.

Before we knew it, it was time for out ADR at Chef mickeys..so we took the monorail over to contemporary for lunch. Heath asked to be the co- piolt of the monorail but someone had already asked..darn it. He was kinda bummed.

We arrived at Chefs a little early..I had the adr wrote down for 2:00 and it wasnt actually untill 2:30, so we had to wait a lil while...we checked out the resort..I love the contemporary, however there was construction going on and wasnt quite as appealing as I remembered it.
Anyway..we had a nice view of the lake while waiting for our beeper to go off...

Daday and Javen killed some time tickling each other...

Here is heath patiently waiting...he enjoyed watching the TV..LOL

Our beeper went off shortly after and we were directed all the in the back of chefs..on the right hand side, I thought this would be a horriable table BUT I found out different, it had a very nice view of the castle!!! the only downfall wa that there were 2 very large parties in there and the kids were waaaay loud!!
First we spot PLUTO! before we even got our plates!

We took the kids up and got our plates, begain eating and look who arrived!!!
MINNIE!!

The nice CM offered to take our picture as a family- that was so nice of her!

OMG- while Minnie was at the table next to us the adult male that was at the table pulled up Minnies Dress while he was getting his picture taken with her and the charecter security lady YELLED " OH NO, NO, NO..DONT YOU DO THAT!!!!!!!!!!" she was very mad...the guy felt sooo stupid, he said" I was just teasin", they didnt think it was funny AT ALL!!

Anyway...

Then Danes favorite...Donald

after Donald came GOOFY- YAY...Goofy is soo great!

We finished our food..It was just blah BTW..I mean, I wasnt expecting it to be great anyway...we just go for the charecters
then we waited for a while on the MAN!!! about 15 minutes later he showed up YIPPIE!!!

After Lunch we decided to go back to the lodge and rest since we would be in MK late tonight.

Here we are on the boat back to WL!

Once we were back at the resort we had a knock on the door..It was a man with balloons and a card asking for FARRAH! YAY ME! It was a birthday card...My birthday was on the 16th but My TA noted it on our ressie that we were celebrating it there, so I got a card!!

I tried to get the kids to take naps but they wernt having it!!

So I decided we should all go swim for a bit while we were having some down time...

Heath LOVED the water slide! He went over and over again! This is also when we noticed that Javens ear infection was back!! Luckily I brought his medicine!!

Up next :
A disser comes to visit us at WL...counter service,.. and Hi Ho, Hi Ho.. its back to the parks we go!!!!

You're right. Chef Mickey's is good for the characters, but the food is YUCKO!

Great pictures. Looks like y'all had fun in the pool. Man, I had no idea Javen got his ear infection so early into your trip. Poor little guy.

Great new update. That's crazy about the guy lifting up Minnie's skirt. I bet he really felt like a butthead,lol. All the character pics are very cute. Can't wait to see more!

ooooh! Those are some great pics! I can't believe that guy lifted Minnie's skirt, well - yes, I can. Poor Minnie was violated.

The boys are so darn cute! I just love their expressions - especially little Javen. I just wanna squeeze him. It's probably best we didn't meet up; he would have been scared of me!

Love the new pics (except the one of me....eww!) I was wearing Sidney's sunglasses because mine broke. He bought me some new ones though (sweet man!) I have to have them polarized or I go crazy! He found me some though.

Dane looks to be having the time of his life at Chef Mickey's! (And in the swimming pool!) I can not believe some one would do that to Minnie! My gosh! I love love love the pic of you all on the TTA! It's so adorable!

I hope you guys do come for Spring Break! Here things are more relaxed and laid back. We can have some fun!

Wonderful photos. We want last year the same time in Aug. and it was hot and too crowed for us. Did you found the pool at WL to be too small for the resort. When we were there visitn last year, we walked around and I thought it seemed overly crowed when we want to look at the guyser.

We went to wilderness lodge on our last day to hvae dinner at artist point. I fell in love with the place right away! We took the boat back to magic kingdom during sunset and itg was so beautiful. :O

I think we may stay there on our next trip. Your photos are tipping me in that direction anyway.

you got that right about Chefs, BUT we will return Im sure for the charecters.
Javen had a ear infection before we left but I thought I had it under control...all it takes for him is one dip in a swimming pool and he automaticly gets a ear infection. poor guy.

nah, I wouldnt change it, Just dont expect something spectacular..Its okay food..just nothing I would pay OOP for. AND thats just my opinion..Im sure many others may disagree.

Oh the boat rides were one of the best parts of the MK nights...sooo relaxing!

Lunch was about the same as dinner. We did dinner last year.

Actually the pool was perfect IMO..It never seemed too crowded, however most FL kids had returned to school so the crowds were probably lower when I was there.

I did see your boys one day at Pop. We were on the way out and they were sitting outside near the food court. They were so well behaved! I would have stopped and said something but I didn't wanna freak the kids out. (And we were already late for that ADR) Where were you guys? We were right by the Goofy jets. If you walked out of our room they were right on the left. I LOVE that spot. It's close to everything. Joy was on the 50's side. Sidney saw some Dis decorated rooms when he took her shoes over. He meant to go back and read the details but it was pouring rain that night and he slipped and busted his booty! You never really talked to me on here so I figured you didn't wanna meet. Otherwise we could have. I only got to see Farrah and Jen. I wish I could have seen a lot more of you! BTW are you watching the new 90210? And who do you think Kelly's baby daddy is?
