Here is the coffee mug that was left in daytona--- how flippin cute is it! I cant belive this seller wants this much for it- they were only 12.00 in the parks!

Holy crap! Your trip home sounded like a little hell on earth! And your broken spicket sounds like one time we came home from Disney and our dryer was broken. All this laundry and no way to dry it. We woke up in the nasty, creepy hotel at about 8:30ish..grabbed some doughnuts and pop tarts from our crate of food for the kids for breakfast. Then loaded up the van (It did not get broken into BTW), Called Alicia to see where they were~ She said they had just hit Atlanta..I was hoping they would catch up with us before we headed out (she is a early bird)...but it didnt happen. So we decided to hit the road for a 5 hour drive.

here is Javen just setteling in for the long ride..yeah he is wearing the same clothes..we didnt care what we looked like for the car ride!

It seemed like we drove forEVER! Finally we made it to Florida!! It started POURING down rain, so bad infact that I had to pull over for a few minutes because I couldnt see a thing. Right about then I got a call from Tanya (tanya90210), checking to see where we were at...I told her our location and she said it was pretty nice in Orlando..maybe a sprinkle or two, but nothing to worry about. thank goodness..I was hopeing it wouldnt rain all the way thru Florida!

We drove another couple hours and Finally saw this from afar.

YAY!! We finally made it to WDW!! I had to take several pics of this sign cause last year I missed it all together...Didnt have the camera ready- NOT THIS YEAR BABY!

we were all soooo excited to finally be there that I didnt even care that it was raining there. I called Tanya and let her know we were there. She asked if I brought the rain with me LOL- I guess so.

we searched and drove, and searched and drove and COULD NOT find CBR anywhere. I finally called Tanya again and told her we couldnt find CBR...she said to look for POP centurt resort and it would be in that area...I pulled into the ALL STARS and asked the gate person how to get to CBR and she told me to turn around and go thru 11 stop ligfht and make a right...we were sooo far away! I wasnt aggravated yet tho, so thats good

We found it and it was still raining pretty hard, got a parking spot and headed to check in.
The whole front of CBR was packed full of people, I assume they were all going on a cruise cause the cruise bus was there. I opened the door to the main enterance to CBR only to see a TON of people in there!!! I got in the LOOOONNNGGGG check in line and the boys decided to go try to look around the lobby area. After 25 minutes or so I was finally up at the counter. I gave the lady my info and asked if our room request was granted and she said..... NO! I was soo disapointed...I know a request is not garunteed but I was sure hoping we could get in one of the newly refubed NEMO rooms. Ohwell.

I got my parking ticket and directions to our room and we got in the van and went to th Auruba buildings. Here is a shot of our building...let me just say the boys were NOT impressed with the VERY girlish pink buildings LOL

we went to scope out our room and found that we were parked pretty far from our room so Dane ran back and reparked the car closer to builing 56 (our building). The kids and I stayed in the room while Dane unpacked some stuff from the van.

Once Dane had everything unpacked we all grabbed showers and got ready to head to DTD. I must tell you that Dane hated this hotel..he said it was too strung out and that the building that we were in was waaaay to far from the parking area...he had to haul evrything up to the second floor and we were waay in the back facing the lake so it was a long way.

Yay! You made it to Disney. I aways miss the picture of the sign, too. I can never seem to take that picture fast enough. Sorry about CBR. I have friends who have stayed there and that was their main compaint......that it was way too big and too spread out. At least you didn't stay there all week.

Glad you made it home safely. I love vacation, but I'm always happy to sleep in my own bed. That's great about getting the little girls. So, you're gonna have 6 kids again? I really don't know how you do it. I applaud you and Dane for opening up your home to these children. I'm so excited to hear all about your trip.

oh no, no dryer would be awful. Luckily the leak is fixed now and It only cost me 100.00! woooot!

Oh I loved CSR..it was spread out aswell, but sooooo romantic at night and relaxing. CBR felt busy and unwelcoming.

We had a similar problem on our last trip to Disney and I found the receipt for the item that was lost. I was able to e-mail Disney guest services with the information and they were able to sell me a new one. (it was my daughter's nemo toy - she lost it in a supermarket the week after we returned from our trip...luckily we found the receipt for where we purchased it in The Living Seas in Epcot. I hope you are able to get a replacement mug.
