Im dancing we finally paid our holidays for this year and next year off!! few! to say this year was kind of last minute I am impressed with us.
We have also paid for the annual passes etc, so now all there is to worry about is spending money, and how much to take.
I hope the dollar goes up it was only 1.66 at work today

Great feeling, isnt it? We've paid our flights this week too.

M&S are offering $1.70 today.

I don't understand why some of you do this - why don't you just put the money in a building society account and earn some interest, then pay on the due day. We'd lose a LOT of interest if we paid our holidays early - certainly enough for a flight upgrade or a couple of PAP's.

Good tip Gill. Have to admit that I've never thought of that before. Both times now, we have paid as soon as we booked when we could have easily paid the deposit and left the money earning interest till the balance was due. I will dfinitely be tasking your advice next year

hiya

well i work for a bank, but the loss of a tiny ammount of interest, (and most inteest rates are small) doesnt bother me what so ever. I have savings for savings and then the holiday money so I get it all ways

I am happy anyhow (plus this years holiday was due the end of next month)
