Dancing With The Stars!

Just my opinion. I thought that last night P "danced" the worst of all the episodes. I *think* he did it on purpose because he wants to go home.

I have no other explanation :confused3 I have felt sorry for him but after last night I think he's a loser. I don't care how bad someone dances. It's all about effort to me.

Don't worry people. P will go home tonight.

They amde it blatantly obvious last night that their soul purpose last night was to get P to go home. Scoring him an 8? The next lowest score a 21? Its quite obvious they had a motive last night. And while Len said it was disrespectful to everyone to vote for P, IMO, the way they acted last night was disrespectful to P, to Ashly, and most of all to the audience. This show isn't about what the judges want but thats what they made it out to be last night.

It will be virtually impossible for P to overcome that gap tonight. He is gone. and thats what they want. I think I'm done with the show. Not because of P, but because of the hyopcritical way they treated him and Ashly and the audience. Its ok for them to say that the voting of the audience is being disrespectful of the show but then they spend 90 minutes with 1 disrespectful motive.

Thank goodness Survivor starts next Thursday, I won't be tempted to watch DWTS.

What's disrespectful is for P. Miller to spend less than one hour a day rehearsing for the show, when all the other celebrities juggle work, caring for young children (Tia goes backstage to nurse during commercial breaks!) and all their other obligations to honor their committment to the show.

P Miller just uses the show to promote his shoes and his album and himself. He is the one showing no respect.

It is shameful that someone like Giselle, who worked hard and wanted to be there, got kicked off because....because I don't know what the heck anyone voting for Miller is thinking.

P is not showing respect for his partner, who would train 6 hours a day with him, if he would bother to show up. Who has to appear with him and be made to look ridiculous every week, because he won't put forth any effort.

Sadly there is no guarantee Master Pathetic won't make it through this week.

It doesn't matter how low the judges scores are. The couples are ranked, highest to lowest, based on the judges score. There are six couples now, so the first place couple gets 6 points, 2nd place 5 points, and so on down the line. Last place couple gets 1 point. Ashly and P have received one point from the judges every week.

Fan votes are also ranked, highest to lowest, and the same system applies. Six points for the couple with the most votes, 5 points for the couple with the next most votes, and so on. Couple with the fewest votes gets one point.

So P Miller could still make it through, he just has to get more votes than George & Edyta.

This show may not be "about what the judges want" but it is about dancing, and being a good sport - neither of which P Miller has managed to do.

All of the people voted off so far, including Kenny Mayne, put forth more effort that P.

I wish the show would not have had elimination after the first week but after the second. That way you could see who has improved and was really making an effort before they were sent home.

I was thrilled to pieces that the judges gave him an inescapably low score. A score so low that no matter how many votes he gets he will probably still be sent home anyway. I imagine the judges MAY also have been tipped off by the producers as to just how low they needed to score him to make him go home based on the average number of calls he's recieved in the past.

P just isn't putting in any effort. I wonder how different the show wouldv'e been if his son Romeo had been able to perform?

I don't think there's any way they could score him low enough to prevent the audience from voting him back. I'm glad they outed him last night. I wondered how he could possibly be so bad and it became clear that part of it is because he doesn't give a hoot. He has practiced less than 20 hours since the whole show began. He's not even trying. It's a joke - shame on him. All those people out there busting their hind ends and then he goes out and stomps around a bit and expects equal respect?

P is going home tonight or I'll stop watching the show :thumbsup2

Drew and Cheryl all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cheer2:

I didn't know that! Well he's probably going to stay another week then :sad2:

If I am correct, the way the scoring is done, it would not matter if P. (for PATHETIC) were to get complete zeros from the judges. As long as more people call in for him than any of the other couples, he still stands a chance.

However, as the number of contestants gets fewer and fewer, it will be harder and harder for those phone calls to keep him alive.

I wish I knew just how they were 'supposedly' coming up with these scores. Cause, mathmatically, I am finding it hard to see how he is still there, even with all the crazy kids jamming his phone lines. :confused3

Something is amiss. It is like, why are judges even there giving scores. They don't seem to hold any weight.

I too think this has turned this whole show into a joke.

Originally, I was giving P credit for at least trying but after I found out he has only practiced for 20 hours , it is obvious he does not want to be there. I think he was just using the show as a means to promote his new cd.

I just can't get over Lisa and her lips, she is doing well, but I still don't like her. I'm hoping Drew and Cheryl take the trophy. :cheer2:

All the work on her and George's face is SCARY! I do like how hard she's working, though, and she did a phenomenal job last night.

I frankly think that Stacy and Drew are the stand outs and I'm not crazy about either one of them. I don't think we'll have a finale like between John O'Hurley and Kelly.

Me too! :thumbsup2 I didn't even see Master P last night, I didn't want to be ill after seeing him dance. :p

One of the problems with the voting is you can phone in or use the net. The younger "Pee People" could cast more votes per second then the phone people. And with only 30 minutes after the show ends to vote, time is "The Pees" friend.

but you only get 1 vote online (per email address) and 7 per phone line.

I think instead of a P he should have an "L" for Loser on his hat! I will stop watching if he makes it thru to another week.

Totally agree! I will not continue to watch the show if P stays in tonight. :confused3 The show is about DANCING, it should not be a popularity contest. The new voting system unfortunately has turned it into that.

I'm hoping that people knowing that P has put in 20 hours TOTAL will finally get him out. It's one thing to put forth a h*ll of an effort and be bad, but quite another to coast thru while others are working their butts off. :furious:

LOVED LOVED LOVED Drew and Cheryl's performance last night. I couldn't figure out how they could dance to Thriller but it was great! They got a big thumbs up and all of our votes last night!

P Miller - I think everything has been already said. :( The practice time stat is just pathetic.

Laura & Kewz1 - starting last week, the dancers got to pick from 2 dances, which style they would do. After reading the info the website, it sounds like there may be some strategy to their selection because in the end, they will end up dancing 9 of the 10 styles. Here is a quote from the abc website...

At the top of the series (shows 1-5), couples only perform one dance each. In show 6, when five couples are left, each couple will perform a new dance followed by a group Viennese Waltz (in which all couples dance at the same time). From then on, the couples will dance multiple times in dances they have not previously performed. The decision regarding which dances are to be performed by each couple each week rests with the producers.

By the end of the series, the three finalist couples will each have danced 9 of the 10 different dances included in the competition. The ultimate dance-off amongst the finalists will determine who wins the trophy.

I had felt kind of sorry for him up to that point too. I thought, "Well, he stepped in for his son and is a little better than the first show (very little)."

But after they gave out the statistics of an average 130 hours for the others and only 20 for him, that pretty much eliminated any possiblity that he was really trying. Definitely time to go...

well i missed last night but it looks like lisa did well and as usual drew and stacey i didnt really like drews thriller dance though
georges looked kinda dumb
i wouldnt care if he left, he another one who should have gone before giselle
so what do you think if Master P stays again
