Dancing With the Stars - Spring 2017

I'll say the difference between Val & Allen. Val dances to showcase Normani. Allen dances to show off his own dancing. :p :duck:

Dancing may go down to one season after fall

It may be better for the show in the long run. Strictly has never run two seasons and it's been better off for it.

You're right. It's a problem most pros have when teaching amateurs first starting out. How do you make your amateur competitor look better while not "dumbing down" your own dancing? It takes years before you're proficient at this.

Lol. Loved the end of Normani's dance. Actually I loved the whole darn thing. She really owned it. The only thing I didn't like was the country theme. Mr Grumpy was right about time wasting time on the table. Lol Thom on the table.

Between Davids dance and news that one of my favorite player was just traded.... I really love that they gave him generous 9's but if emotion factor's in along with the technical as the judges keep stating, 9's are pretty fair as he showed growth and listened to their criticism. The judges are ALWAYS hard on the ones who remain and cushion the blow for the one abut to go.
Normani..I mean~killing it. BUT...I still have to factor in the dance training/experience whatever you want to call it.

Liked Bonner's trio, wish his head wasn't on the chopping block

I pretty much hated Bonner's trio. Was there any dancing in it?

Ouch! Bonner's dance was painful to watch. No hip action and no emotion from him. :crazy2:

Part of the problem with Bonner is the camerawork on his routines. He has this resting _____ face which doesn't emphasize the rest of his movement. You would think they wouldn't constantly do close ups of his face during accents as a result, but oh well.

That said, I know a dancer who went through a spinal fusion and ended his career. It reduces your mobility significantly.

Idol is coming to ABC in March 2018 so...

Is this confirmed? I only heard rumors about it a few days ago. I figured ABC had offered Ryan Seacrest some type of package deal to come over to ABC & do Live with Kelly & Ryan. They gave Michael Strahan not only GMA when he left Live, but hosting $100,000 Pyramid, and I think he hosts some weekend sports events too.

caught Val's comment to Alan that he is the "future" of the show.....guess Val is making exit plans:rolleyes1

Not the most reliable but considering he works for E or did.... http://www.eonline.com/news/849232/...idol-revival-talks-but-will-he-return-as-host

Peta's really good at it, When you watch earlier dances with her stars, her footwork is more "casual" per se, not as precise, as later on, and as we know she can be.
