I don't see a thread here on the first page, unless I have missed it.

So, I will be the first to say.... WTH!!!!

Now, I think that Emmit and Cheyl did do an awesome job!
And, I do really like Cheryl.

But, there is simply no way that Emmit is the more talented dancer.

Mario should have won this hands down.
It was Mario that they were referring to as a 'professional' dancer. Not Emmit.

I am seriously questioning the integrity of the show.

Mario was the better dancer, but the people voted. What can ya do?

While I agree that Mario was a better dancer, perhaps people voted for Emmit due to his having to learn a lot more to be at the level he is now?

well......i didn't want either of them to win.

you have to remember last year, and how ironic it was as to who made it to the top 2 this year. Drew Lachey(boy band) and Jerry Rice(Football......yek). and this year?? Mario Lopez(uhm.....teen idol maybe? don't really know what you'd call him) and Emmitt Smith(football.....yek).

Mario is nowhere close to a professional dancer, actually. try watching So You Think You Can Dance when it comes on........THOSE are professional dancers. and they do amazing things on that show. and if anyone has ever taken dance, his footwork is just about as off as Emmitt's sometime.

and last week's elimination was strange too. Emmitt isn't better than Joey.

but since last week, a lot of people have been having "problems" voting. i know last week i only got to vote 3 times, instead of 5, and it told me "you have already used up your votes from this phone" and this happened twice. once on my home phone, once on my cell phone. and my DF had the same thing happen to him when he tried to vote. and it wouldn't even let me on the website to vote last week.

I was able to vote for Mario on our home phone, but we could not vote with our cell phones due to that 'you have already reached your limit'.



I wonder if anyone on Emmit's voting line was having these problems.


PS: While Mario is obviously not actually a professional dancer, his footwork and presentation and technique were all far better than Emmit's. It is not just about looking for mis-steps. Mario's routines were also more challenging than Emmit's. Most of his were very simple.

yeah definatly some voting problems there. it's like the Idol mishap years ago.

i will agree that his dancing is better than Emmitt's, but i just don't think anyone should be calling him a "professional dancer" when he's made as many mistakes as anyone else on that show(ok......so maybe not Jerry Springer lol). just like Joey's dancing was better than Emmitt's, and he got voted off last week.
