Dancing with the Stars - Season 4: Official Thread

I'll go on record now saying that I'm hoping Ian Ziering goes all the way. Of course, now I've jinxed him...

Me too! I've always liked him. He just seems so funny and normal.

I think Heather will be the first to go. Many people I talk to just don't like her, especially after the whole Paul thing. But then again, maybe people will want her to stick around to see how good she can be with the artifical leg. Should be interesting.

Is it horrible for me to secretly hope that Heather's leg comes flying off midway through her dance?? Yes...it's horrible. Must be nice, must be nice...

You're not the only one hoping to see that happen. ;)

LOL!!! :rotfl:

I thought about that the other day when I saw the commerical and she was saying something about her biggest fear would be to keep her leg from coming off while dancing.

Can't wait for tonight - I love reality shows!!! :happytv:

I'm a newbie - this will be my first season of Dancing With the Stars. Any advice from you seasoned veterans??

Speaking as a former moderator of the Official Paul Mccartney message board, and as a current administrator of the Official George Harrison message board...emmmm no comment!;) :rotfl:

I am excited about this year! My early votes are going to Joey while DD wants Billy Ray (yep - another Hannah Montana fan).

Let the dancing begin! I can't wait for tonight's show!!!

From a purely physical standpoint, I give Heather Mills a lot of credit for joining in a dance competition. A part of me would love to see someone with a disability such as hers do well in this contest. However, the key word being SOMEONE like her, JUST NOT HER!

I think she's got a lot of gall to enter a contest where popularity often enters the picture. I can't stand her, I don't want to see her, and I hope she's gone first. Does she really think she's got a lot of fans in the world? Paul McCartney is one of the most beloved musicians that the world has seen.... No matter what happened behind closed doors (and for the record, I don't believe much of what she said), she can't be so naive or vain to think that people are going to support her?!?!? :confused3 Is she hoping for the sympathy vote????

Well put and I agree. Dont like her.. hope she is off fast....

Now onto a different dancer.. John Raztenbuger.. it could go either way with him.. but I think he will be too stiff, plus he has not had the same 6 week pre training that the others have had (is it 6 weeks or 3 hmmm)

Anyway I a sick as dickkens and going to pass out now, but I hope to be up for the show tonight (just set Tivo incase I am not!)

My stalkee, Edyta Sliwinska, is with Ratzenberger. She'll be gone before it's half over.

Only if it lands on her head!

It pains me to see Heather on the show at all, as they have paired her with one of my favorite pros, Jonathan. Really, the pro dancers are more the stars for me now.

I think Edyta is adorable, and it sucks that she always gets the least likely candidates to work with. I don't dislike Cheryl, but I am tired of seeing her win, and I think it is high time the producers gave her a really challenging, uncoordinated person to work with, like all the other pros have had to deal with at one time or another.

I'm going to tune in tonight for the first time - I've never watched before. Hope it's good!

yup ill be watching tonight! I don't vote on reality show like dancing with the stars, american idol, etc. But i like watching them. Ill be rooting for joey fatone because i used to LOVE nsync. I'll also root for Billy Ray Cyrus (sp?) cuz yes, even at 20 years old I sometimes watch Hannah Montanna... and Im also rooting for Ian (steve). Woo Hoo 3 people to watch this season.

*then i'll also be watching to see if Heathers leg flies off. I don't know a lot about her, but i get this strange feeling about her, and even though i give her lots of credit for gettin out there and shakin what her momma gave her:lmao: , i still kinda wonder how thats going to all go down!

I like this show. Unlike most reality shows, they aren't nasty to each other. I don't think there's any proze besides the title so it's all in fun.
To be honest, I don't know much about Mills. Who is she and why is she hated so much??

A lot of people believe that Heather Mills married Paul McCartney for money. (not people here necessarily...just in general). Their divorce is very nasty and for those of us who are long time PM fans (and who adored Linda as well) it has been hard to believe the things she has been saying about him. I must admit that I am curious as to how someone with an artificial leg can do the moves required in these dances. It will be interesting to see. I will be rooting for Ian Ziering. I have been a fan of his since his days on Guiding Light. I saw him and Cheryl on Ellen the other day and I must say...he has aged well! He is really handsome!!
