There have been several and I don’t know how much is true. The biggest one that was substantiated, was that she used some racial slurs in past posts that resurfaced. She did issue an apology. There is more but a quick google search should bring them up.

I think they are announcing them first as their social media is a way to get free advertising for DWTS that the show doesn't have to pay for. Get the buzz going ahead of the official cast reveal.

She was quite young when she posted that, only 13 years old. She was literally a child and children don’t consider how what they say and do can affect them. She has since grown up and matured. She holds herself accountable for the slurs and her apology seems to be sincere. If we cannot extend grace to someone like that, someone who made a mistake as a child and has changed, who can we extend grace to?

You don’t even know what she said, but you know for sure that it comes from a place of hate? Perhaps you should look it up.

What I’ve seen was taken out of context and it was also the N-work without the hard “r”. Much like you heard in music 10-12 years ago. My daughter is close in age and I recall the music she listened to in middle school was loaded with that term. Perhaps she was trying to be cool? In any case, she has reflected on her mistakes and acknowledged them.

I seriously don’t know her and have never heard of her before today. Of course you’re allowed to dislike her. I just don’t think it’s fair to paint her with a broad brush of forever a racist for something she posted in middle school.
