Dancing With the Stars - Fall 2022

Gabby got three 8s and a 9 from Bruno.

BOTTOM TWO:

Sam & Cheryl
Cheryl & Louis

GOING HOME:

Cheryl & Louis
(by unanimous decision.)

I was kind of bored with James Bond night. The rumba is my least favorite dance. I actually liked Tyra's white dress.

just watched last night. I tried to watch it Monday night but the show had already started and it kept crashing when I tried to start it from the beginning.

I wish someone had done View to a kill, probably because Duran Duran was everything to me in the 80's. :rotfl: :rotfl:

I'm sorry but that trench coat ensemble looked stupid to me. A trench coat with a wonder woman belt around it? I can't even. 🤮

I really don't have any favorites this season, I do like Charli although I feel it's not fair to the rest of the dancers. Joseph is super cute too.

I don't get why they love Gabby so much?

I have to give props to Cheryl Ladd for being 72 and not showing her age at all.

There really isn't anyone that I hope goes home next. That's something for me, there's usually someone who I can't stomach.. Well I guess Tyra and how much she struggles with the teleprompter. So awkward...

I watched last night too. I'm happy with who went home.

I am already sick and tired of all the gushing over how brave Selma is. They don't pull that crap with Daniel who also has a disability related to dancing. Both are good dancers regardless of their disabilities and I wish they would just drop all the gushing. Also, I really detest the blindfold gimmick and my love and admiration for "Left Shark" Sasha took a bit of a hit.

My favorites remain the same: Jordan, Shangela, Joseph, Wayne, and Charli D’Amelio.

Oh, and I liked Tyra's white dress tons better than the "Inspector Gadget" outfit. I *think* she had the white dress underneath the trench coat.

Shangela is amazing. If you aren't familiar with drag, she's affiliated with the House of Edwards (*tonguepop*) out of Texas, and they tend to all be accomplished dancers. Also, she's hilarious.

She's from RuPaul's Drag Race which, if you like reality TV and haven't seen, you are MISSING OUT. So many drag performers are so unbelievably talented. She's also in a documentary series on HBO called "We're Here" that's sort of a Queer Eye-esque show where they make everyday people in usually small towns into drag queens. There's been some really interesting and moving stories told on that series.

That's who I'm rooting for, anyway, but it'll be a tough season... there's a ton of talent on the show! I have never watched it until now, but because I follow Shangela, I figured why not check it out. I knew she would bring the entertainment. But I've also been very moved watching Selma Blair. What an amazing accomplishment for her. She's an inspiration. It also made me sad to note that it's hard to get properly diagnosed in this country, even when you're famous.
