I heard Emma has Jack Hanna. Is that rumor denied? Also heard that it's Witney getting the honors with Ryan L. and Val gets the gymnast. If it's Laurie for sure, not loving that she's so young, but I adore her!

I tend to be hit and miss when it comes to watching DWTS and even more so when it comes to posting here, but I was a vocal supporter several seasons back when it seemed like everyone on the Dis was anti-Derek. Honestly I don't think it's as much that he always gets the best dancers as that he really knows how to bring out his partners strengths. I've missed his choreography!

All these rumors! I'm enjoying so far the potential cast list, I heard from Pure DWTS that if Laurie was to be on the show Val would be her partner. Not sure how reliable that is but I can see them being fun. Reminding me a lot of Val and Zendaya since both girls had some fun sass to them.

I think (and it's rumored) that Val will get Laurie. She's on the tour, so her partner has to travel with her. Derek has rehearsals for Hairspray Live coming up, and Mark has been booking a lot of gigs in LA.

That means Mark with Beverly (she's tiny) and Derek with JoJo. Lucky JoJo if that's the case!

Hey everyone! Hope you all had a good summer!

I can't believe that the season is starting so soon...seems like it crept up on me.

I'm excited that Emma is back and that Jenna is a pro, and also thrilled that Maks is back! I am interested to see what Derek can do-the only season I watched with him was Bindi, and while I loved them together, I felt like so many of their dances felt/looked the same, after I had heard so much about his creativity. I had to look up who almost all of the celeb were...I only recognized Beverly Mitchell, the Disney star, and the Olympians.

I am excited if Val is getting Laurie-I'm hoping she will be much more likeable than his last two partners.

I'm glad Ryan Lochte is getting a chance to potentially redeem himself. While I was pretty horrified by what he did and think he embarrassed USA swimming and the whole country, I do think it was a dumb mistake with no malicious intent behind it, and he should be given a second chance. I want to like him, as I did before this incident, but we'll see!

Did anyone else see the rumors flying that they were trying to get Phelps? Those made me LOL-I love him, but he is much too famous for the show...plus with a new baby at home, I can't imagine why he would bother.
