The flip from Chelsie and Louie's jive was sick!
I think he is one of those guys that can teach the basic steps but does not have the creativity to bring it to the next level. I think that Tony makes some big mistakes when he gets close. He had Melissa last season who was not only a good dancer but had a HUGE following.
Is there a song list or anything? Been trying to ID the song Chelsie and Louie danced to last night.
But anyone else have favorite pros? For the ladies its Lacey and Chelsie and for the guys its a three way tie between Jonathon, Derek and Mark.
OK, Samantha's hair is looking frightening tonight. Is she going for a vampire look or something? Too dark with the hair color.
I read that Kelly Osbourne said there was a rumor going around backstage that one of the contestants has been taking secret dance lessons for two years. Anyone else heard anything about it?

My favorite pros are for sure Cheryl and Maks.
I guess what I am wondering is if they are paid on a per show basis or a per season basis.
I read somewhere last season that it's a per show thing. It goes up drastically if you make it to the finale and of course, it's huge if you win.
Not a rumor! Donny has admitted to taking ballroom lessons for at least a year, but he says it was for the Vegas show and not 'real ballroom' - yeah right, as if there is a difference! They were talking about it on "Access" or one of those shows the other night.
I was wondering. If you are once of the dancers on dancing with the stars and you get kicked out early. Do you get paid less than the dancers who make it further?

Really? That's a shame for the dancers paired up with stiffs like Kathy Ireland or Macy Gray. I like them both, but I don't know if any of the dance instructors could have gotten them much further...
I think the dance pros are paid a little differently as they are still on the show: they sit in the audience on Mondays and dance numbers on Tues. So they probably still get paid per episode, but a lot less since they no longer have to train the star they were assigned.
Imazadi:
according to what I saw - they said he had admitted it and the "it was for vegas....not "real" ballroom" was a quote from him...you can take it for what it is worth. From what I see from him I tend to believe it. They said it was specifically ballroom lessons. I never said he should be disqualified. I thoroughly understand the backgrounds of other contestants.
I'm just a little over-protective of Donny. It goes back some - err, thirty years.![]()
