Dancing with the Stars--Cast Revealed

I think that Tom dropped Cheryl because of his foot. He had to put a lot of pressure on it to hold her up and the pain was probably too much. You could see it in his face when he got over to the judges for their critique.

my favs were Aaron,Mya,Donnie, and Mark. so theres only 1 that gets voted off? i'm sorry to say but i think it might be Kathy, poor Tony, he never seems to get a good partner. the last good one he had was Stacy and she blew it when she got hurt at the finals.

I think the pain in Tom's foot was really causing him problems yesterday. He did do a very impressive traditional tango. It was unfortunate that he lost control at the end, but I think both he and Cheryl did a good job recovering so that she didn't fall to the floor.

Watching Tom DeLay turns my stomach.

Loved Donny. Donny is my age, so it's rough that they keep talking about how OLD his is.

Mya, for the win. I love her. I didn't expect her to have such a cute personality, but I was pleasantly surprised. She is adorable and an amazing dancer. The chemistry between her and the dancer (forget his name at the moment) is natural. Go Mya GO!!!

I looked Mya's bio up and it said she spent the majority of her younger life taking dance lessons. I guess that's why she's such a great dancer!

Does anyone know if Kelly has had any dance lessons? Yes, she had a less than stellar dance last night, everyone has an "off" night now and then.

Yeah. Aarron Carter did as well. Most of the pop singers do. That's why they perform better than everyone else and have somewhat of a leg up on competition.

Those are two distinct dances. Donny did the jive.

Ah, I wasn't sure. :) I know they made a couple other guys do a quickstep. But they did keep calling Donny's dance a jive, so I wasn't sure if it was the same thing. Or they meant his was "jive-ier".

Donny is actually a grandfather. :faint:
Talk about feeling old after hearing that! <need creaking, old smiley here>

count me in with the "OLD" gang...i used to have a giant poster of donnie osmond on my wall. :rotfl:

Is there a song list or anything? Been trying to ID the song Chelsie and Louie danced to last night.

But anyone else have favorite pros? For the ladies its Lacey and Chelsie and for the guys its a three way tie between Jonathon, Derek and Mark.

I also actually admire Tom DeLay :scared1:. He didn't just stand there like a lump while Cheryl danced around him. She challenged him and he stepped up to the plate and gave a nice performance. Kudos to both Cheryl and Tom for not taking the easy way out :cheer2:!

I was surprised that Tom was as good as he has been. I think Cheryl is just a great teacher. She is very inventive and really has a lot of variety and depth to her choreography. Just because some of these pros won a lot of dance competitions doesn't necessarily make them great teachers.

poor Tony, he never seems to get a good partner.

This is what I am referring to. Is it that Tony doesn't get good partners or that he just isn't a great teacher? :scratchin

Like Edyta, I doubt that any of her partners will ever win. :p

Lacey's a bit strange too. Her first season dancing was more about showcasing HER and honoring her dad who taught her.

And I don't know if Kym is up to being able to teach Donny at a level to WIN! :yay: :( She's got to be able to pull off some dances at the end where it is obvious why Donny is one of the finalists, and not because every Osmond & resident of UT voted him into that spot.

(paraphrased)
Tom: Tony had "Ka-Tony" inscribed on his hat. What does Ka-Tony mean?
Kathy Ireland: It means "Bad-Donkey Couple".
Tom: Nicely cleaned up for broadcast!

:lmao:

Ba-bye Ka-Tony!

What is it about these models that they are just so wooden and can't move? They've made a career off their bodies and they can't move? :confused3

Maybe we should petiton Tyra to make one of the requirements to being her next top supermodel winner is that she has to take some dance classes to learn grace & rhythm.

I think he is one of those guys that can teach the basic steps but does not have the creativity to bring it to the next level. I think that Tony makes some big mistakes when he gets close. He had Melissa last season who was not only a good dancer but had a HUGE following. She made it into the final three but her freestyle was such a hot mess ... and it was all Tony's fault. I couldn't vote for her that week because she and Tony did not deserve it. IIRC he also sabotaged Stacy's Freestyle too. He has had two 3rd place finishers who (IMO) should have won according to their second to last week's performance and let them both slip away in the Freestyle.
