Hey y'all! I'm safely back in NH. And right back into life at the speed of light. Missing FL of course but enjoying the burst of leaf color that has recently appeared. I do love these crisp fall days.

Winter, not so much. And I have also heard we're in for a long cold winter.

Welcome back. The leaves are really changing!

I have been trying to wait until Oct to put my electric blanket on my bed, but I don't think I can wait much longer. It's cold at night and was only 59 in my house this morning.

We had 100 gallons of oil put in the tank this morning. It's a start! And, over the weekend DH was shopping and discovered FLEECE SHEETS!!! I am SO getting those!

I have a set of flannel sheets. Fleece would be warm too, but fleece attracts animal hair and that wouldn't be good in my house.

We could only get 50 gallons of k-1 last week for our hot water monitor. We didn't have enough money to buy 100 gallons so had to pay an extra fee. We are almost out of oil, but I don't see us being able to get it anytime soon.

Hello all! Had a great time at the Food and Wine Festival. The magic bands worked great. I do have to make some changes to my online account before I use them on my next trip because there were doubles of the girls and me which made the passes attach to one and the room to another. We were able to get everything attached, but it looks like the "me" they used wasn't the main account holder so I wasn't able to make changes while at the park from the My Disney Experience app. Overall, I do think the bands will make things go smoother, especially eating my way around the world kiosks. Just tap, enter your pin number, and go. For the room, it was tap and enter. For the parks, tap, use finger print and go.

They have a Mickey head outline on them which is where I think the chip is; you hold it up to whatever machine you are trying to use (payment, park entry, room door, etc.) and "tap" it lightly there to get it to be read/scanned. This is instead of sliding the magnetic strip on the back of a card. You just sort of "tap" the top of the band against the receiver part. Does that make sense?!

And by the way, there are no stupid questions.

BEAUTIFUL fall day here!! DH and I went out for a hike, explored a place we found out about almost a year ago but hadn't gotten to yet. It was a really, really cool hike. So good to get out there. I went yesterday by myself to another place nearby. It's a good reminder that we have so many of these areas right here in our own "back yard."

I've got to get out and run 8 miles here pretty soon, too..... The Half is next Sunday. Honestly I'll be glad when it's done. I enjoy running, but I've discovered I don't so much enjoy the long distances.
