what a trade off.... inlaws.... vs new kitchen.... i'd deal with the inlaws too... cuz eventually they go home, and you can still have the new kitchen... new treadmill.. and hey didn't they do the pool too???? you are sooo lucky... i can't think of one darn thing my inlaws every gave us.. except for excuses about how they can't get out and shop... nothing.. not even for the kids... I mean.. whatever.. we don't really NEED anything... so I shouldn't complain... but jeeze... you know at christmas and birthday's she gives a 25 check, and they thank her... but then it's like they have to be eternally grateful... .. it's not like she can't afford anything either.. but... i don't know.. I guess I'm just ungrateful....and again.. I'm thankful.. because we don't need anything... but, my mom would always buy stuff... just because she saw something and it reminded her of one of us, or for no reason... I miss my mom... off my soap box....
I would still deal with the inlaws for those kinds of gifts.. I have been thinking of getting a treadmill too... any suggestions? I just have to figure where to put it... I was going to see if i could get a used one,.. maybe a fold up kind.. not too big... I was thinking it would be nice to try and get exercise, because I know joining a gym would be a waste for me. i would never find time to actually go.
