Mornin' nanners. Snowing here. I'd say "blech" except this storm has resulted in my getting an extra two days off from work and DS12 has an extra day of vacation as well.

I am also going to run on my treadmill a little later, and laugh at the weather outside as I go.

Soooo cold. Blizzard like conditions tonight with wind chill 25 to 35 below zero. I'm concerned the winds will knock down the ice covered limbs and create more power outages. Normally after an ice storm the ice is gone from the trees/branches after a day or 2. It's been over a week and the ice is still there due to these ridiculous temps. Trees are still bent over. I hope not to see another foot of snow. We are on the line so hopefully it will be less.

We had a lull this afternoon but it is definitely picking up again. And besides the horrid cold, there is a lot of wind coming tonight here as well. I'm waiting for our school district to call tomorrow off as well. If they only do a 2-hr. delay, I'm letting DS stay home. I cannot see the point in going in for 4 hours, at the end of a 2-week holiday, right before the weekend!! Besides it is supposed to be almost record-breaking cold tomorrow.

We had a lull this afternoon but it is definitely picking up again. And besides the horrid cold, there is a lot of wind coming tonight here as well. I'm waiting for our school district to call tomorrow off as well. If they only do a 2-hr. delay, I'm letting DS stay home.
