Dance the World, question about tickets

Has anyone attended the Dance the World program with your students and already have an AP? Can the 4 day hopper pass be saved in MDE for future, or future upgrade to AP renewal?

I can help! We did Dance the World twice and had APs. Unfortunately the tickets that come with the package are special event tickets that are only good for dates surrounding the event (maybe a week before and after) and cannot be upgraded. You have to purchase a ticket for the dancer, but they gave us a credit for others on the package who had APs. It was nominal, but better than nothing. They do not advertise this, so you must ask.

Both trips I bought the package for only my daughter and I - since it was so much cheaper for us. I bought wristbands for my husband and son so they could attend performance and added them as “day guests.” Only downside was that they didn’t have new magic bands with room access. Also, while I had to buy a park ticket for my daughter, I was able to give it to my sister-in-law, who joined us for a few days.

Thanks for helping!!! I am going with the studio I teach at, and I know the package comes with 4 day hoppers. So the ticket cant be saved in my MDE, boooooo. Will have to inquire about the AP credit, but it may not be worth it as I am not going as a Dancer or a Family member..

It was such a fun and memorable event! My daughter graduates this year... otherwise we’d be returning with the studio in 2020. Have a great time!

We are doing this 2020! Just trying to get info on it regarding the ticket, but its all good! Guess I just use it when im there, even though I have AP! Will be doing our annual disney trip march 2020, then going with the studio june/july 2020.

You may be able to offer it to another family in your group that needs an extra ticket. Have fun!

You should really try to get some kind of "value" for the stand-alone ticket, as it would serve absolutely no purpose for an active AP holder to use it.

I will try and see what can be done.... but as a Staff member I am not paying for the room/tickets etc so can't imagine them reimbursing me for something that I am being given? I will email and ask today, figured I would get a faster answer here from experts! Thats why I was wondering if the ticket was in MDE and could be used as I wish would have been different story.. for upgrades on renewal. Thanks all! Going to dig further!
