To anyone who has this and has used it- what are the ages of your kids? We got this for our kids and think maybe they are too young (10,8,6)- heck, I can't even get it! I didn't try for more than 3 minutes though, so I'm going to try again soon. All those arrows flying up fast- how the heck do you know what to do with your feet??

Anyone??? Help!!!

Jackie

UPDATE:

My 20 year old niece came over last night to show me how to play. I am totally hooked!!! I actually sweat! This is one kind of excercise I will do- and I laughed soooo much. My 10 year old son was up till midnight dancing- cracked me right up. Thanks to all who posted.

My dd got hers when she was 8 - it's her absolute favorite thing to play with! It takes a lot of time and practice, but she's gotten pretty good at it. It's good excercise too.

Mny 10yon has had it for almost 2 yrs and loves it!

We got ours when DD's were 4 and 5 (o.k., I'll admit it, it was really for me ;) ). Emily doesn't care much for it, but Hannah (now 6) really likes it, and it pretty good at it too. There are many different levels, so some for every ability. We also often turn it to workout mode, so she doesn't "fail."

My 11 year old had the old one for a while - and got II for christmas and LOVES IT
DS -5 attempts it - not good
and DD 16 months just stomps all over it ;)

I play it too - and it is hard til you 'get it'

Workout Mode is a great way to practice. Also, watch the song selection, and depending on your game system you can also select a more simple mode before you even start. There is a Disney version that my kids love to play, although at 5 and 3 they still are in Workout Mode!

I have Mario DDR which by far has the easiest setting of any of them I've played. It's much better for little ones, but it also has really hard levels for them as they get better. Love it :lovestruc

Santa brought DDR as our family gift this year. DS2 is obviously too young for it, but DD6 is having a ball with it.

I was thinkling of getting this for my Dd's seventh birthday.I am glad to hear that everyones kids like it.I want it for her to get some exercise with.

I never heard of this gadget thing??!!

Too bad, cuz my girl is the dance twirl girl type and she would have loved it for x-mas.

Oh well, maybe birthday or next Christmas.

Kelsea has it now and she's almost 14. She loves it.

DS got it 4 years ago when he was 11. He loved it from the beginning and although he is not playing it as much as he use to he still uses it quite a bit.
