Hi, I'm new to this section of the boards so I guess I will start with a little background info.
I am 28 years old, 5'4'' tall, work full time and have no kids. I have always struggled with my weight and seem to put weight on easily. I have yo yo dieted for years. 2 1/2 years ago I started weight watchers and stuck to it for a year and a half. I was determined to loose weight for my WDW holiday and I managed to loose 60lb. It wasn't my target weight but I was happy with what I had achieved. However once back of holiday I couldn't get back into the diet and gave up. Over the last year I have put 42lb of that back on
So now I am starting again. I have 57lb to loose to get to my final target weight. I want to be 120lb by the time I next go to WDW at Christmas 2005. Really I would like to loose the 57lb by next summer and have managed to maintain my weight by the WDW trip. As I am really busy with my job I can not attend weight watchers classes but I know the diet really well anyway and have the points calculators etc at home to help me work out points of various foods. However I feel that I need somewhere where I am accountable for my losses/gains each week. I guess making them more public gives me more of an incentive, so I thought I would try to keep a journal.
I started my diet on Monday (weighing 177lb) and have done well so far, sticking to my points each day. Right now I am on holiday from work and find these times the hardest when I am in the house more and have less to do. I find when I am at work and I have a set routine I am good at sticking to the diet. Saying that I am trying to keep busy at the moment. My husband and I are building another room on the back of our house ourselves (it is almost done) and we have decided to put our gym equimpent into it. We have various pieces of equimpent but never use them as we didn't have space. I guess having a dedicated excercise room will help. So hopefully in 2 weeks time I will be able to excercise every day too (I am putting a TV in there so I can excersie whilst I watch TV in the evening!)
I hope I will be able to stick to it better this time. I am setting myself little targets and have decided on rewards for myself when I reach them. Hopefully I will do better this time.
Thanks for reading (sorry it was so long.)
