After two year my xbox 360 has finally suffered to the red ring of death. How i thought i could cope:headache:
Oh no, said to Sarah, fancy an episode of lost and prison break (streamed via 360) and half way through the sentence realised what i was saying....noooooooooooo. :scared:

Oh dear, I can imagine what your going through...I know that my hubby wouldn't be able to survive without his!

We have had 2 rings of death. Microsoft did a free exchange with the first one, only took a couple of weeks. My son hasn't done anything with his last one when it died as he upgraded to the Elite so I don't know if they still do that.

my brothers broke recently too. hes gutted.

My Xbox360 is out of warranty. I fixed the 3RROD with the X-clamp and have also had to fix the E74 (several times) where I take it apart and attack the motherboard with a heat gun. The heat gun only fixes for a little while, so I will need to re-solder (with soldering iron) under the (H)ANA chip as that is where the shoddy soldering is that is causing my problem (and most of the RROD problems).

They are so terribly built, you can actually see the problem!

Hope you get it sorted. I  my 360.

UPS will pick it up Tuesday, counting the days already.
