damage to jungle cruise at MK?

I have tix for the MNSSHP on Friday and received an email today stating that there is a problem with the FP for jungle cruise but they gave me a full day FP as a replacement. We have never ridden it and I was looking forward to it.

I'm sure there is a lot of debris to clean up because of all the trees and foliage.

My guess is that they'll also have to muck a lot of debris out of the water too.

The big question is whether a tree fell on either a key animation piece or the track. I have a feeling they wouldn't care if something like one of the headhunters was damaged or one of the minor animals in a scene was damaged, but if it is one of the highly recognizable things they would need to repair it first. If a tree damaged the track, they would probably need to drain the water. The only way I see it damaging the track though are if they drained the water to much in anticipation of the storm or it was a big tree.

Not official but some CMs on social media have posted that the backstage maintenance dock where the boats are held after hours was badly damaged and that the boats can’t get onto the track. There are also many trees blocking the route.

I think the skippers really appreciate those of us who genuinely laugh at the jokes. So many people just sit there scratching their heads.

First time I was on the ride, I thought "Dang, this captain is hilarious." Didn't dawn on me until the second ride that it was a script and that we didn't just simply have the greatest captain in the world on the first one. Oops.

I heard that some of the animals for the ride got out enclosure and they are trying to locate them and get them back to their proper places. I am sure that once they get them back that the ride will be up and running.

If you ever need to spot me on Jungle Cruise, I'm the girl sitting there laughing uncontrollably throughout the whole ride while everyone else just sits there politely nodding at the skipper.
