Dallas on TNT.

My husband was laughing so hard that he rewinded the part where JR showed up at Bobby's bedroom door the first time and the scene that followed. It was classic JR, and nobody could have played it better than Larry Hagman.

Great episode!
Looks like Anne is going to compromise herself in order to save Sue Ellen...

Those were great scenes with JR. He always makes me laugh.

Didn't Christopher do a paternity test to prove the twins were his? I don't think they are Tommy's.

Do you guys think Rebecca was shot? What a great ending last night. Can't wait for more.

Where is this strong guy the rest of the episodes? :confused3 I remember always loving Bobby. I can't believe he was always as wimpy as he is in the new series.
Exactly! JR was always the brains of the operation - Bobby was the brawn.

Looks like the cliffhanger is going to be a good one too popcorn:: ... Just like the good ol' days :thumbsup2 ... :)

We were laughing, too - Hagman's still got it, as do the writers!

IDK, it almost seems too easy, right? :confused3

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Okay, so Tommy's supposed to be stealing Chris' technology to give to Cliff's "driver" - is that right? So.... do we think this is Cliff's gig, or is the "driver" a double-agent? Intriguing...
They are supposed to be careful with Bobby and no stress. When he finds this out he will die
Everyone thought scene between Bobby and Jr was funny:confused3 I thought it was sweet.
I have a feeling that Rebecca shot Tommy and Rebecca is going to feel bad and turn back to being bad. She will probably loss the babies as well and will keep that a secert as well.
I tell ya...every episode tops the other. The ending was amazing. I hope Rebecca is alright. But why did she answer the door without the gun in her hands? When he tossed her on the bed, I just knew she had that gun hidden somewhere close, but she had to empty her purse?
I LOVED watching John Ross and Christopher. Jesse and Josh have amazing chemistry. Anne cracked me up. Loved how she told off JR. He said, "Crazy woman has lost her mind":lmao:
I hate that next week is the season finale. But that only means that they will get back to work for season 2! Don't forget guys, next week is a marathon starting at 12:00et!
Carmen: You can't go in there!
J.R: Carmen, this is my home. I can go any place I want. You take a little vacation and everything falls apart.
Bobby: Hello J.R.
Ann: Get out!
J.R.: Now just calm down, Darlin'.
Ann: Don't you "Darlin'" me. This is your fault. Get out.
J.R: I don't see how it's my fault.
Ann: Well of course your don't - you're a sociopath.
J.R.: There's no need to call names.
Ann: You know what? Since you're too stupid to figure it out, I'll make it clear. You're not welcome in Southfork.
J.R.: I own the deed to this ranch and the man in that room is my baby brother. Until those two things change, I'm not going anywhere.
Ann: If I catch you anywhere near Bobby's room, I'll shoot you. And since you have no heart, it will be somewhere more vital.
J.R.: Damn woman's out of her mind.
I am loving the show, but Josh Henderson's fake accent is driving me absolutely nuts. The man was born in Dallas and raised in Texas and Oklahoma. There is no excuse for how bad his accent is. What's funny is, I have seen him on interviews and when he is talking about his family and mocks their accent, it sounds much more legit.:lmao:
:lmao: My favorite, though, was this: "Wife number three is at the door, and she's packing heat!" :rotfl2:
Love love love this scene :thumbsup2 ... It was classic ... JR was priceless ... The writers have done a great job this season for sure ... They kept the storyline moving throughout and then would hit you with something unexpected ... The cast is perfect :thumbsup2 ... One more episode left, and I'm already looking forward to next year ... I hope the players and the writing stays the same ... So happy Dallas, and good ol' TV, is back! ... Now bring on Dynasty, Knots Landing, Falcon's Crest, etc ... Oops, did I just show my age? ;) ... :)
That was great. I might be Team Bobby, but J.R. is easily my favorite character. Youtube has a fantastic video of The Best of J.R. Ewing. One of my favorites is when Lucy asks Pam how her dad is and Pam responds that he has been sick. Then JR goes, "You mean drunk? A lot of that going around." :rotfl2:
JR/Larry Hagman IS "Dallas" as far as I'm concerned, even though I always want Bobby to win their battles. With this show, you really can't lose; I am so happily surprised that the writers were able to bring back the feel of the original show, as well as the best cast members!!!!
To quote a line from a movie: "Larry Hagman's 200 years old, but he's still a stud!"
He has got the BEST evil grin on television... ever! Not to mention JR's sense of humor. :lmao:
(the original quote was about Sean Connery). LOL
I think the scene people are referring to as funny is the first one, where J.R comes to visit Bobby and Ann ushers him out of the room.
The Bobby/J.R scene, where Bobby tells J.R he loves him, was superb and really touching.
Yes, Christopher did do a paternity test, and it showed the twins to be his.
Personally, I think Rebecca shot the guy who was pretending to be her brother.
Yes, the first scene is it. The second one showed that JR really does love his brother (as difficult as that may be to see sometimes! LOL).
Dallas marathon today; season finale tonight. I am super pumped. I am dying to know who was shot. Was Rebecca shot and is going to lose the babies? Was Tommy shot and that's how it will come out that he wasn't really her brother? Was it some neighbor who came in to see the commotion therefore resulting in all sorts of new blackmail? I must know!popcorn::
Can't wait till the season finale tonight! :tongue:
And it hasn't disappointed! Who do you think Rebecca is in cahoots with?!
I don't know, but I didn't know one could just call up a clean up team to get rid of a dead body like that! :lmao:
