DAISY... at last!

DD and I have been trying to catch Daisy at Disney on a day when she was not "out shopping".... rumour had it that she was at MK more regularly than before, but was she there when we were.... NO.... Sunday - we missed her by a mere 15 minutes. So - today, I took the day off work, and DD and I ventured to MK once again - bright and early for breakfast at CP, a ride in the Indy Cars, and then back to Toontown for the "rope drop".... DD spied Daisy waiting with Minnie in front of Minnie's house. DD headed for Barnstormer (she was the first one to ride it today - but no Goofy!) and I followed Minnie and Daisy through Minnie's house, out the back door to the greeting lines. I waited for DD to finish riding Goofy (2 more times) and then we got in line for Daisy! The wait was not so long as it was only about 10:15.

We originally had planned on visiting Ariel, the only Princess we don't have, but it was just too darned hot, we decided to ride the train to Frontierland, and see if by change they started the soft opening for POC early - sadly - no.

DD got wet in the squirting "things' by the Magic Carpet, and then decided she wanted to go up the Swiss Family Robinson tree. I did not - and headed for the store... and who do I see signing autographs? Genie! He was another character who had eluded me in several attempts in Morrocco! He was where I am accustomed to seeing Jamine and Aladdin - to think - I almost didn't look there!

I know neither of these charaters are RARE, but in the past 6 months that we have seriously been character searching again, we had not seen either!

I was a happy Diser today!

Cool, nice pictures. We were there 6/10 - 6/17 and my mom is still talking about how disappointed she was we didn't get to see Daisy-lol.

You got DAISY!!! I know she was on your "must find" list! Great to hear she is still meeting in ToonTown!! And Genie and you guys have finally crossed paths! And reading about your character finds is making me yearn for my next trip! I keep hoping that Jack Sparrow will become the next newest meet and greet character!

FWIW, we saw Daisy in the Disney Studios, at the character meetings near the Sorcerer Hat. It was too hot to wait in line and we really didn't go looking for autographs this trip.

Gabbyrosebud MNSSHP with your DD and Minnie is sweet. Oddly enough we have not done character "hunting" at ANY of the parties the last three years - DD has always wanted to do rides. I TOLD her this YEAR - it's ALL ABOUT THE CHARACTERS!

It's great that Daisy is around more frequently --- we just were having bad luck the past few weeks!
