I have a new food allergy to dairy. Have been to disney with my shellfish and chocolate allgery. A little worried of restaurant choices for dairy free. Recommendations please if you have ate there with dairy allegeries. We will be there for 15 nights and do mostly table service.

No worries whatsoever. Disney is the best place to go/be/dine with any kind of food allergy. I have multiple and go all the time and the chef's are always wonderful and go above and beyond. My DBF has a dairy allergy and they are great with accommodating him!

Make sure to indicate all allergies on your ADR's and reiterate once in the restaurant. Ask for a chef to come to your table if you must.

Enjoy! :)

Just note it on the reservation and talk to the chef like you do for your chocolate and shellfish. Most places it shouldn't be a problem.

My kids have multiple food allergies, including milk. We have eaten at a number of restaurants at Disney and had no issues at any of them. Just note the allergy on your reservation and mention it at check in. The chef will come out and talk to you about your meal. We have my kids' foods brought out from the back at buffets due to cross contamination risk. Some favorites were the dairy-free milkshakes at Sci Fi, the towers from Chef TJ at Trails' End, and the Mickey Waffles.

Oh, and double check the binders when you are there, but the popcorn and Mickey pretzels were both dairy-free when we were there last time.

Avoiding dairy is really quite easy. You'll be able to eat in any of the Disney restaurants. My twins can't eat dairy, grains, soy, or eggs among several other things and they can still eat at the majority of TS restaurants and a few QS locations. There are tons of dairy free options.

Hi, my Mom has a dairy allergy (among other allergies) and we just got back from Disney in January...it has always been easy for her to dine at Disney with her allergies as the chefs would always come out to the tables, but now they have new allergy friendly menus which make it a lot easier!

I'm sure they are available in lots of locations, I found http://www.glutenfreedairyfreewdw.com/ really helpful when it came to planning. Good lucky - I'm confident you'll have plenty to enjoy

My husband is allergic to dairy and also can't have black pepper. We can eat at just about any TS restaurant including buffets and dinner shows they are so great at accommodating him. In case you were not aware they have non dairy sorbet at Ghiradelli's in DS.

My son has a dairy allergy and I have taken him 3 times plus 2 lunches in the then downtown Disney on the way to/from the auto train.

He ate everywhere with us. I did bring his butter, earth balance, because at the time Disney just had fleishmans unsalted with has no flavor. Plus I wanted to make him Rice Krispie treats.

The only problem we encountered was in the then downtown Disney and we were going to eat at Rosie's all American cafe or whatever it is called. I forgot his burger buns, I brought them too because I knew he wouldn't eat the gluten free ones and they were unable to accommodate.

And when we ate at Wolfgang pucks express, a life time ago, 2013, in April, which was a pit stop off the auto train, he ate the pizza with out cheese but we put on pepperoni. We went to Disney that following August and planned on eating there again and they told us we were lucky because In about 2 weeks their dough was going to have dairy in it. So sad. We have been bummed but...December of 2015 he was given the all clear to eat baked milk so we were thrilled he could eat there and even better, 2 weeks ago another food challenge and he can eat cooked cheese so I don't have to spend an arm and a leg on a dairy free pizza in Disney with soy cheese!

Anyways, he also has an egg white allergy (he eats eggs cooked in things), peanut (failed the food challenge 3 yrs ago) and most tree nuts but he can safely eat almonds and cashews as of a year ago. So yes he was able to eat everywhere and we weren't just dealing with dairy.

We are not big TS eaters, 2 per trip, and we ate at CRT for breakfast, ohana for breakfast (both a waste since he only likes the bacon and sausage, won't eat a pancake/waffle, he is 13 and I forced him to take a bite of one 2 weeks ago and he said nope I stilll hate them), Whispering Canyon cafe, crystal palace and chef mickeys. All others have been CS.
