I have to just tell you all how much I love my new phone. It's really paying off having it.
About 2 weeks ago, I had to drive Skip up into Michigan, about an hour away to get a part inpected for his pulling tractor. He knew how to get there, but only going through a city and then doing a little backtracking. So on the way home I typed in our address in the GPS, and we go home so much faster, and esier. He was impressed!
Then when we were at a tracotr pull, I went to the offical website, and we could keep track with live updates on how everyone was placing. He cmae in 6th that pull and he was excited to know it before most others did.
ON Sunday, my mom took me and my sister, Aunt and Uncle and nieces to breakfeast. I rode along with mom in her car. After we ate, she wanted to go to Gymboree to shop. She wanted to get some outfits for the girls to have at her house. She ended up getting Claire a couple of outfits for our house too. Anyways, I told her "dang, if I had known we were coming here, I could've printed off the 20% off coupon I got in my email"...then the light when on I have access to my email on my phone..so I brought it up and at check out the lady was able to use the code and get an additional 20% off everything. YAY!

Love my smartphone. With soccer, religion, school stuff, etc, I'd be lost without it!!!

Which one do you have? I have the Motorola Droid.

I have a motorola droid too. It's the o1 I believe. It's through Nextel, so not as advanced as most other netwroks, but it's top of the line for Nextel. I guess the direct connect feature makes it so they can't go to 2.0 on this one

I am I am!!! It was shebaxric. I am glad you said something, I just didn't want to hijack everyone's threads with my little saga. I loved looking at all the memories you've had over the years at Disney, it's so awesome to have them! I haven't finished reading yet, so I'll post something else later on when I get done.

It was actually less than ten. I think I got 2 of them and shipping for about ten. I'll see if I can find the link from ebay. Yes you can wear it without hte pearl. The chain it comes with is kind of cheap, but you can put it on any chain you want. I believe the coach is 18K thought.

The cards are so nice. Claire also got one from another Dis friend about a year ago. It was right after she had her tonsils out and the card said something like, hoipe you are feeling better. She was very excited that they knew she had them out.

Sounds like the new phone is def paying off ! I love my i-phone too , can't wait to use a lot of the WDW apps why we are down there . The GPS is def helpful , we have it on our phone too but back in the winter we bought a TomTom and it's cut most of the trips we have taken down by an hour.

It's claiming our drive to FL will only be 9 hours 36 mins. as opposed to the 10hours 43 minutes map quest had us take last year . I'm hoping it works out !

The GPS worked for me today too. I had to go take something in to get fixed for the farm and it told me a much easier way than what Skip told me. The only thing is, I seem to find so far that when I punch in an address when at my home, it tells me it can't reach the server, but after I get a few miles down the road, then it does. Not sure why it can't get it at my house.

You shouldn't be reading over here! You need to get packing! What time do you leave tomorrow?

I've used it several times while in Central Park to find something - I have NO sense of direction and that park is so big it's easy to get lost in.

I haven't tried to just have a coupon right on it, but I'm tempted. I signed up for Target Mobile Coupons, but haven't gotten any yet, they just scan your phone!

One thing I can't get figured on this phone is how to poist a picture to facebook. I think it just doesn't have that capabilty. Also I keep trying to send pictures off the phone to my email and it never arrives. Everytime I send one I get what looks like an upside down !. So not sure whats up with that. I may stop by the store one day and ask.

I used to say I would never get a cell phone. I thought they were dumb, or not needed for "everyday" kind opf people. LOL! Then one day I got stuck in a deep snow drift on the way to my moms house out in the middle of no where. I had to walk quite a ways(thank goodness my sister was in the car and stayed with the kids) to get help. I went that day and got one. Funny thing is my first plan was probablu about $20 a month with 30 minutes. And I rarely ever even used a full 30.
