:upsidedow

Next.....

:flower3: That just stinks Debbie!
Why couldn't this happen when it was cold enough to just keep the things outside?

Today I don't have a vent.
We are going to Lexington to pick up Eldest.
Haven't seen him for two weeks.

you must be so excited to see him!!!
how long is the drive?

2 hours each way.

My Little Bit really misses his brother. I know these are the only grandchildren my ILs will ever have and that the time they spend together is important, but oh my I miss them when they are gone.

awwwwwwww... this IS a good day!!!

Mine are all going to Baltimore for the Otakon (japanese anime convention). They will probably be home after I get home tonight after midnight...

i think it's nice that you share them with your il's. your little bit will be thrilled to have him home!

My vent is for yesterday. New carpet being installed in lab i'm responsible for. COntracter started taking old carpet up - oops - cracked tiles = asbestos. Room now sealed waiting abatement.

Day got worse - took cat to vet as she was acting odd and she had to be put to sleep - kidney's were shutting down. One day she seemed fine and the next... She was 13 and really my daughter's cat but she had been with me since dd went to college in 1999, so she was my cat. She wasnt' an overly affectionate cat but I was fond of her so yesterday sucked!

On the other hand, people several miles away were hit by a tornado and lost homes and businesses, and some friends of mine haven't had electricity since Monday night. We weren't touched other than lots of wind, rain and branches in our yard.

Today - starting over again and hoping for a good day!

My vent for today is that I just got back from the doctors and he says I have pink eye. ARRRGGHHH. Never had it and boy does it suck. And I'm not fond of putting anything in my eye, but now I have these thick eye drops that I have to put in every 3 hours for seven days. But I'll be sure to do it if it'll make me feel better.

:confused3 Adults get pink eye?
Dang, that stinks to know. I never really worried about me getting when the boys would bring it home. Now I have something else to fret over. My DH will NOT thank you. :rotfl2:

The medicine does make it feel better fast. After one day on the medicine the boys can go back to school.

Debbie, that's bad about the fridge.

AWM, Yay on going to pick up your eldest!!!!!

Vanyel, I'm so sorry about your kitty.

Maslex, ooh, pink eye, that's no fun.

As for me, I have no vents for today. It's a good day!!!!!! I'm packing to go to WDW tomorrow so I'm in a happy zone!:goodvibes

Yes, adults do get pink eye, and it sucks! I get it all the time, unfortunatly. Seems that my lids open at night...gross...and if the sheet hits I can get a scratch...top that off with a bit of dry eye, and you get the perfect environment.

The drops work great though! By tomorrow you will feel much better. The easiest way to get the drops in, is pull out the bottom lid, and drop in the cup there...just FYI, incase you didn't try that...

vanyel so sorry about your kitty. my sisters kitty passed away yesterday too.
glad to hear you were not close to the storms. stay safe.

maslex- yucky about pink eye. i too did not know adults could catch it. hope it feels better real soon.

So sorry about your kitty Vanyel!

I just had to update...I have a new vent... I was rear-ended on the way into work today. I had to follow her as she was leaving the scene (even though she was saying she wasn't, the accident happened on the main road, and I caught up with her turning in a parking lot), and then the cop gave me attitude, and to top it off I was 2 hrs late for work...

OK, vent over...but GRRRRRRRRR!!!
