I'm almost there just another couple of months till my first trip home to BCV. We have a two bedroom for a week. There will be 4 adults and two kids. I know that I have to pay an additional fee for daily housekeeping. But I was wondering who I contact? Do I call Member Services or do I just wait til check-in at the resort?

Also, I'm just curious if anyone knows the fee for this. I'm pretty sure my DVC paperwork lists it, but I'm really not in the mood to go hunting through my paperwork files!

Thanks:tongue:

You may contact the front desk or call housekeeping directly from your unit.

The fee is $40 for a two bedroom per day requested.

Straight from the member web site:
Housekeeping Daily Rates Studio/Inn Room
$25 per day requested
One-bedroom Vacation Home $30 per day requested
Two-bedroom Vacation Home $40 per day requested
Grand Villa/Beach Cottage $60 per day requested
Trash & Towel $10 per day requested

Please note: Prices are subject to change.

According to the Members Guidebook, if you would like extra housekeeping services, please contact the front desk prior to arrival or at check in.

The rate for a full cleaning service for a 2 bedroom unit is $40/day requested. You may request as many or as few days as you like.

As often as these questions are asked, maybe a mod could post all the additional fees (housekeeping, towels, soap, coffee service, etc), close it and pin it in the forum? Just a suggestion.

Or put it in the frequently asked questions portion.

I recommend requesting the cleaning you want at check in then once you are in your room contact mousekeeping directly to be sure you’re on their schedule. I’ve had trouble in the past with the front desk relaying the request to the mousekeeping staff.

FWIW here’s a neat way to leave your tip for the mousekeeper: http://users.adelphia.net/~heidiw/
