Good morning and happy Thursday :)

That's right it is 4:45 am here and I have been up all night (again) :(

Today is "Thankful Thursday" at our house and today I am especially thankful for Latte my loving golden retriever :thumbsup2

Today's list:
Pay bills
Sort and kit the rest of the pics for Rachel's senior year
Laundry
Deep clean the kitchen (floor and cabinets)
Work on the cards for Lisa

Have a great day all :flower3:

Morning Cheryl - sorry that you weren't able to sleep later... Hoping you have time for a nap during the day.

Off to school - still testing the kids to place them in appropriate reading grps - so a relatively easy morning.

Hope you all have a great day. :thumbsup2

Morning! I also didn't sleep much or well last night. I think I am getting used to little to no sleep.

DS first day yesterday went well, except the bus ride home. We live 1/4 mile, if that, from school. All of bus riders are within our subdivision, DS got home at 3pm with a 2:10pm dismissal. I know they hold buses to 2:20 first days, but still! Apparently, they hit every street in subdivision 3 times, we only have 5 streets, but they mostly end in cul-de-sacs. He passed our house multiple times, but couldn't get off until "his stop". I will give until Friday, but it needs to improve.

Today:
BJs run
Calls
Friends son off bus, keep until someone home from work
That will probably take all day, but if I get that done, hopefully I can get some other projects done tomorrow.

Dinner- crockpot BBQ ribs

Have a good Thursday! I like the thankful designation!

Oh my!! I hope that they get that bus route fixed.. That had to be annoying to drive past your house numerous times but not be able to get off the bus... Our buses cannot drive down cul-de-sacs.. They are dropped off at the top of the street..

Good Morning!

Prayers and pixie dust to all those in need.

Cheryl, hope you get a nap in today and sleep better tonight.

Caroline, enjoy your day at school!

dsneprincess, hope they get the bus route figured out.

Afternoon - had a busy morning and am just now posting. Running a couple loads of laundry right now and getting ready to scrap ;)

Well, finally got in to see the ear, nose and throat doc yesterday. The Eustachian tubes in my right ear and area around them are inflamed – says it can happen anytime with a cold, sinus infection and can be made worse by flying (although it can also happen without flying). As I explained to him that it has improved over time he agreed that in most cases it does, anywhere from 3-6 months. He did remove a small piece of wax from my ear drum and gave me a hearing test on both ears. The hearing in my right ear wasn’t as good as my left so that confirmed the inflammation. He put me on prednisone for 6 days to help expedite the reduction in inflammation and I’m to see him again in 3 months if the problem still exists.

As I have had a massive hand psoriasis flare-up within the last couple of days(thanks to starting BP meds, a psoriasis trigger…sigh!) the prednisone will knock that out too, so two issues should clear up in a few days thank goodness!

Lisa - glad to hear Megan got the teachers she wanted!
Cheryl - hope your day goes by quickly so you can rest...
Nan - Yay on DSs win :)!!!!
Caroline - Yay on the easy day...they are so few and far between..
Cassey - have a good day at work
dsneprincess - hoping too that the bus route gets remedied quickly - your poor boy!

Enjoy the rest of the day!

Becky

Glad to hear they have you on meds and you are on the mend now, Becky!!!

I ordered my photos and they, the website, said they'd be ready after 4:55pm. (I ordered at 12sh)... no problem.. I'll grab them tomorrow... At 1:30pm I had an email they were ready... Woohoo!!! Ran to store and grabbed them and some more project life page protectors for DS17's sports album.... I can start scrapping these pages at 5:15am and have them done by the time I have to get DS12 up for school.. the only thing that won't be done is the embellishments and typing up the game summaries that are already written by our awesome middle school athletic director! She is so amazing.. I had misplaced the one from 2009-2010... I emailed her and within in 5 minutes I had new copies!!! :woohoo:

So mad at myself.. noticed last night that DH must have been talking to me at the end of DS12's football game.. I did not get a photo of the scoreboard.. :(

ETA: I didn't get to work in my scrap room today... DH's co-workers have decided today was a great day to have multiple conference calls that were not previously schedule..
