Deb's off to the beach for the weekend, right? Hope she's feeling better.

It's Saturday, so it must be Gabfest 2010! Can't wait to see Rhonda and Rannnnnnnnnnn and the kids, and have frozen beverages in the gazebo!

Yippee - It's Gabfest...

Just finished arranging the fruit/veggie/cheese plates - sending Rannnn down to the Danish Pastry House for some breakfast goodies and then jumping in the shower.

I can't wait to spend the day with my scrappin' buddies, have I mentioned that I can't wait...

Hope Gabfest was a BLAST!! It's Tax Free Weekend here, and we had to go to the mall to get my mom's bday present. . .the crowds were AWFUL!!

Worked around the house, did laundry, now going to scrap a few minutes while the boys are gone!! Tomorrow, it's yummy breakfast at the Apple Barn for my mom's bday!

Yes, there was a lot of gabbing, but there was way more feeding our faces, so I think we need to call the next one the Feed Your Face Food Fest.

So good to see Rannnnnnnnnnnn and Rhon and the kids. Always a good time, lots of laughs, and just a warm fuzzy feeling.

The kids tie-dyed, and swam and played...we ate and ate and ate some more! Thank you again Rhonda and Ran for opening your home to us and your amazing hospitality. Thanks for the goodies!

Holly, thanks for driving, so sorry I'm a lousy navigator, but you'd think they'd label MEMORIAL DRIVE a bit better! Thanks for the ride - "pahk the cah."

Yes thank you Rhon, Raaannnnn and the kids for the most awesome day! John had a blast. Last one to leave the house. . I think he thinks he lives there. Right at home. But then again, I feel the very same way. You people go over the top when we come. Sooooooooo much food! I agree with feed your face food fest! I ate and ate today. The chicken was PERFECT! omg when can I come and have more of that. I'll be dreaming of that tonight. And Rhon will be having potato salad tonight. Max will be having pizza strips! All is right with the world.

Brooke, what are you getting your Mom? My Mom has a big birthday this year. She doesn't want any gifts, would prefer that we make donations to cat/dog/animal rescue however being a significant birthday, I want to get her a little sumin'sumin'

My to do list was:

Up early to go to the Cape with MomE for the day.
Waved to Holly's exit
Worked in the garden pulling weeds
Lunch at the Tavern. Turned out not to be very good.
Stopped at the Hope Chest - got a Evon Picone sleeveless dress for $18
folded a load of laundry
dishes
bed, I am pooped

Mom wanted a gift card! She specified the store choices (we tease her about being a gift card hoarder!!), and my brother & I took a store each!

Good Blythe news--my brother & SIL are having their "sleep-in" weekend at the NICU right now. They have to do all of the feedings, changings, everything on their own 24/7 to see how they do and how she responds. This is the very first time they've been allowed to be with her constantly (overnight). I talked to him this morning, and last night, they slept a grand total of 45 minutes! DH, DS, & I are going to their house on Monday to put the crib together and clean. It's possible that she *MIGHT* come home next weekend--it just depends on how the weekend continues to go!! I'll let y'all know!!!

Excellent news, Brooke! That 45 minutes sounds about what D and I slept the night Morgan came home. Good times, good times.

Yes, Holly, Morgan will drive with you again. You're a very good driver and handled that big 'ole truck very well
