upload pics from BIL & Niece's visit yesterday. I was sooo great to see them been a VERY long time.

Prayers and pixie dust to all those in need.

Julia texted me this morning that the bus driver wants to change the bus stop. UGH! We go through this everytime we get a new driver. Called the bus company and they told me not to worry it will not be changing. No way she is walking around that curve in the dark with no sidewalks! I have watched too many cars and busses slide around that curve in bad weather. Okay, vent over.

Regularly scheduled day off here. I think I have an ear infection Went to bed early last night with a horrible headache. Woke up without the headache, but had an earache. I just can't win.

Morgan's 3rd day...She had to wear all her Peeta stuff, because apparently her math and language arts teachers are Team Gale. She wore her t-shirt, earrings, and bottle cap necklace, and brought a I <3 Peeta bookmark. She's not only on Team Peeta, she's the Captain!

No school tomorrow. DH has the day off, so they'll probably go to my sister's pool.

I would like to request P & PD for Sarah to have a safe drive home. They are cancelling classes at her college today and tomorrow and requesting students head home early for the Labor Day weekend due to a wildfire and smoke. She will be driving an unfamiliar route as several roads in the area are closed.

which I may be in need of.....Megan has been having some issues the last couple of month's off and on with "hearing" things, she can't quite pin it down but it is some noise....we have an appt tomorrow with her ped to get her checked out....and will be making some one on one appts with our grief counselor....my feeling is she is having some anxiety issue's - mostly due to our upcoming (hopefully) trip to Haiti at the end of the year, she doesn't do well with unknown things and worries about them a lot. first step is to rule out anything physically wrong, then we work see about the emotional side....

Thanks Jennifer & Lisa It should be about a 6 hour drive (at least according to mapquest). When I talked to her earlier she said it was really smoky on campus. I'll be sure to check in when she gets home--should be around 2 my time.

Jen hope it's not an infection! my allergies are killing my ears the last few days.

I think I'm going to try and scrap instead. Visit with BIL has brought up a lot of thoughts that have my brain in termoil. Some may remember that Tom and I are both adopted and BIL found Tom when Levi was little. They have such a great relationship that it always makes me wonder......... so I think I'm going to play today instead of cleaning. Comfy cloths and some paper therapy.

Have been running like a mad woman all day trying to accomplish my lists... still have some extra shopping to do first thing after school drop off tomorrow in case we get the rain we are supposed to get all holiday weekend... I want time to scrap the weekend away...and skype with DD when we can..

Lisa, do you think she's ready to go to Haiti? I can understand why she has such high anxiety about it, especially after they took another beating from Isaac last week.
Have you checked the house for noises as well? Remember kids can hear different frequencies than we can. I used to be able to hear dog whistles as a kid. Not so much now, but I do still hear noises that others can't.

I hope you guys figure out what's going on.
