Good morning! It's Tuesday...I think Deb is back this afternoon.

No big plans for the day other than the grocery store and the tri-fecta of craft stores. Later, I'm meeting Rhonda and the Bean at the mall to drop Morgan off with them. She's going to spend the night in Medford A new pair of besties in the making.

I should do some laundry too. Bleh...

DH is working from home due to out of state travel the next 3 days...
I've got to find something to do while I await time to go pick up the kids from the elem level... wait to hear if DD gets to come home early since her college class is only 2 days a week..that means 3 days a week she is done w/ school 2 hours early!

First day of school went well, thanks for the good wishes.

Second day of school-rough start but hopefully it'll get better as the kids get used to the routine. This morning I was on the way home from taking DS14 to high school (bus comes at 6:20 ) when DH called to tell me the elementary school bus was in the neighborhood.....15 minutes earlier than scheduled....I was sitting in traffic trying to get home.....he said DS5 was crying because he really wanted to ride the bus. So, being the sweet dad he is, he fed them breakfast and put them on the bus. But he forgot their water bottles and snacks, so when I got home I ran them up to the school.

Today I am meeting MM2000 to pick up miss Morgan for a sleepover. Sarah is over the moon about it. These two are as thick as theives. They even own the same clothing. I am making Sarah clean up her room (gotta take the incentive where I can get it) It is really cute to see them together though...

I had a vaca day yesterday, so DH and I stayed at the beach last night I think I got mostly caught up on the news...

Brooke- how was the weekend for Blythe? Bet momma and daddy were running on pure adrenaline!

Highlights from my weekend-

I caught my first fish, then another, then another... cool...

I pulled the boat out and took it in the slip... I was nervous, but I did OK... DH says he could get used to the service

DH has become quite the clammer! We had steamers this weekend, and there is enough for maybe 3 nice pots of chowdah over the winter... yummmmm...

OK- back to the grind of work tonight...

How's the evening? We've already went thru 100 index cards for 4 pages in anatomy/physiology!

I'm reviewing PJ's Literature now... the book they are using this year is set up similiar to SAT questions! ROCK ON!!! I like that idea.. make them think...but also help them study for that BIG test!!!!!

Yay! What happy news! I'm so thrilled to hear it, Brooke.

I have some happy, pretty piggies and so do Morgan, Rhonda and the Bean. We met at the mall and had our nails done. The girls were done first so to pass the time, they got manicures too. We did a "quick" stop at Justice for some extra 40% off clearance stuff and then went to Panera for dinner. Rhonda took my kid, and I came home.

I can't thank Rhonda enough. I'm such a lucky gal to have such good friends.

haven't remotely caught up from the 4 days away from the computer but we had a WONDERUL time hanging out on the lake and with family.
