and I am just the daring darling Disney dreaming DW to plan it!
Believing is just the beginning...
Hey ya'll!
I know it may be too early to start writing this PTR, but I just can't help myself! I haven't had a Disney trip to plan in a while. Even the thought of one gets me giddy.
A vacation to WDW is definitely forming...here is the plan...
July 12 to 18, 2009 (I know, I know...it's probably too early to start this PTR
)
Caribbean Beach Resort
The Crew:
DH(35): My main squeeze! He got a new job this past April. Something of a dream job. Total career change. It's been good so far! Unfortunately, the new job is 61 miles away from our house.
It's all in the same Metro area, it just happens to be on the exact opposite side of the Metro area.
For various reasons, we aren't moving at this time. DH is dealing with the commute. He's a sweetheart for doing it!
He leads our funny family into even more silliness. He's Safety Man and doesn't want me to post any face shots of the family. Here's him hamming it up for the camera in Epcot:
DS(7): Our big time first grader. Currently lovin' all things Lego and Star Wars...and especially the two combined! Loves going to Disney. Loves going on vacation. He calls them "long days." He's a trouper! And a crack up. Here he is driving in MK...he kept bumming back and forth and shouting "Make it go faster Momma!"
DW(36): That's me! I'm a homebody, staying busy taking care of my guys and my home. I'm spending my days doing tons of home improvement. I'm currently redoing the kitchen. Painting the cabinets. Installing new wall cabs. Paint. Lighting. Countertops. Backsplash. It's craziness trying to get it all done and still cook dinner! (Gotta save every penny possible for Disney!) Here I am protecting the fort on Tom Sawyer Island:
We are a pirate lovin' family and PUMPED about the new pirate themed rooms at CBR!
We went to the P&PP in August 2007 and had a BLAST! Of course, we attended in full costume. I had some sweet beads in my hair. DH let his goatee get really bushy just for the occasion!
I've extended an invitation to my sister-in-law and her two kids (DS8 and DD5) to plan a concurrent vacation. Haven't heard back from them about that idea yet. So we may have more join in the crew.
We are looking forward to another magical time in the world.
I'm using my PTR here to gather all my research and planning. I love the Dis and welcome all tips, hints, tricks, and especially knowledge about CBR to join me.
