Daily Bag charge at parks

They had better not! I'm so heartbroken right now - I cashed in all our Air Miles a month ago and started planning our dream once-in-a-lifetime trip to Disney World... Then I made an account on here and have been regretting getting those tickets ever since

Don't get sucked into the boards. There is a lot of negative talk, especially about pricing. yes, pricing is high. I have annual passes, and I LOVE my trips every few months. No regrets! You will have an amazing time!

Even though Disney is in a money grab right now IMO this is something they would never do. There is to much to take into account like purses, diaper bags, backpacks, etc. I know Disney is in a money grab but this would definitely be harmful to their customer base because 50% if not more of the people who walk in the gates have a bag (ok maybe not that much but most families have one bag or backpack per family).

I would agree with you that I did get got on April fools of last year but this podcast was on March 31 I was listening to it in my husbands car it's his podcast not mine and is it really outside of possibilities Disney's now talking about resort fees. five years ago any of us would've said no way you're pulling my leg now it's not so unreasonable to think that they wouldn't be beyond charging $10 a bag to get in to the parks

A lot of resorts charge resort fees. A lot of them, all over the world. All that Disney has done with resort fees is ask opinions about them in a guest survey. The podcast you heard about the bag charge, if you listened to the whole thing, was clearly an April Fool's joke. They say so very clearly at the end of the podcast. Relax.

This is why April Fool's Day is so dumb. 1) It's not funny ON April Fool's Day. 2) It gets reported and reposted on days that AREN'T AFD.
