Daily Attendance Website?

Are there any websites that give the daily attendance of each park? For instance, if I wanted to check last weekends attendance for Magic Kingdom.

Disney does not release daily attendance figures, it's a closely guarded secret (I guess due to competition with other parks). The only figures they release are annual totals.

The Unofficial Guide To Walt Disney World 2005 is a WDW guide book that has dedicated daily park attendance charts. Very good for checking crowd levels prior to planning a vacation.

Why would competition keep them from releasing daily attendance numbers? What am I missing?
